^^^ Well they are "rookies". Maybe the logic suggests they don't feel accomplished enough to take on the top dogs, but taking on someone who is a stepping stone to where they want to be, plus Miz-Danielson has history to it and makes more sense than a rookie randomly showing up and taking a crack @ the world champ. The fans wouldn't buy into that in the least.

If your number 1 goal isn't to become World Champ of said company, what are you there for? They say they want to make a name, get people to talk, what better way than in your 1st ppv match, you go for the World Champ. Sure there maybe money in a Miz/Daniel feud/match, but logicly when given the oppertunity to challenge for a world title, you're an idoit for passing it up.

No clue how I missed this thread... Anywhoo here is my 2 cents.

The Miz, is awesome. Plain and simple, I have to admit much like many other people on here I didn't care for him at first, but during the Mizorrison run he started to grow on me. He always had the mic skills, hell he carried Mizorrison in the Dirt Sheet/Promos and Morrison carried the matches (kind of similar to the Hart Foundation actually lol) but as the run went on we all saw The Miz' in-ring ability improve drastically, during his first feud on ECW with Balls Mahoney he could barely go 5 minutes without botching something.

Now he is still far from being the most polished worker in the E, but he is getting there imo. He has developed into a star, I do think that the whole Anti-Cena program is what thrust him into the limelight, I thought he was going to get lost in the shuffle much like any other mid-carder onm Raw. Just about everybody was saying that JoMo was going to be the huge star of the duo, I see it as the exactl opposite, since the breakup Morrison has stayed stagnant whereas The Miz has catapulted himself, he gets some of the biggest reactions on Raw, which is already pretty damn hard unless you are Orton, Cena, Triple H or HBK.

Love him or hate him you have to admit that he is in for a great run in the WWE.

Like him or not the miz has worked his ass off to get where is he is today. Remember that promo he did on raw not so long ago saying jbl and the guys did not want him int he locker room? He had to dress outside at times. Look at him now... If ever there was a rags to riches story its the miz and the guy is not even at the dam top yet. The guy gets great heat from the crowd and he is over. Hell his move set has gotten better. I can honestly say i like the miz. And in within a year or so we will all know he is AWESOME!

^^^Fuck JBL! He didn't hide his feelings for Miz doing commentary in 2006. JBL was a great interview but a shitbomb for a wrestler.

So? What has that got to do with the miz?
Jbl trash talked the miz making fun of him.... Look at him now? Miz is one of the most over guys in the company. He overcome all of that crap he had before, i think JBL himself would be impressed witht he miz now. I think Miz has proved a lot of people wrong lately. If not then your just stubborn and very shallow.

^^^I was trying to emphasize the garbage the JBL seemed to heap on Miz. That "good ol boy" hazing rumors that followed JBL. I agree with you about Miz coming out the better for it.

The Miz is well on his way to becoming a legit main eventer. His mic skills are just as good as anyone's. (Including Punk and Jericho). He is above average in the ring. He is just so damn entertaining. He is as close as you get to a can't miss superstar with all his charisma. It would take some really bad booking to ruin this one.

The WWE knows this, which is why it is featuring him so much throughout its weekly programming and using a veteren like the Big Show to help bring him along.

I see him maineventing Mania within the next two or three years as they start to phase HHH and Taker out of their onscreen roles.
