Our next two inductees were the top vote receivers in this class, with very little separation between them.

But for now, we focus in on this one man. Our three prior inductions can all boast immense drawing power, but ultimately the greatest draw in pro wrestling history, according to most, is none other than this man here. Though his run at the top was comparatively brief relative to such superstars as Hulk Hogan or John Cena, this man has the distinction of being called the greatest superstar of all time by none other than Vince McMahon himself. For my own money, I believe this man is the greatest character in wrestling history. He's indisputably one of the greatest promos ever, a legendary brawler, a trailblazer, a monumental figure who inspired the fandom of thousands, if not millions. Welcome to the club, Rattlesnake! It speaks volumes about Austin's greatness that he is the face of the Attitude Era. To be the leader of the pack, when you're working alongside such all time greats as The Rock, The Undertaker, Mick Foley, DX and Kurt Angle is truly an amazing feat. Austin could have coasted into this Hall of Fame off of his WWE career alone, but when you also factor in an often overlooked run in WCW and the career renaissance he had in ECW, he's a surefire Hall of Famer no matter how you slice it. If you're happy to see Austin in our Hall of Fame, gimme a hell yeah!

That's an interesting take.

All I can really say is be sure to make an impassioned plea next year for the guys you think are worthy. Personally, I hope to see the Harley Races and Terry Funks of the world in here sooner than later, but it's an uphill battle when you consider how they're not permeated into the culture of modern wrestling.

I mean I agree with the spirit of wanting to see pre-Golden Age, as well as non-WWF guys get in, but I completely disagree that Savage and Rocky are any less worthy.

Bruno is surely worthy, I won't disagree there. I just didn't put him on my list. If I had like 1 or 2 more spots. I would've likely done it.
