2022 has come and went in the World of Entertainment. 2023 is here now and with that so many potentially great Movies to come in the New Year. Last Year I had 222 Movies watched and in 2022 I beat it out by 5 getting 227 all watched. JANUARY
01.01.23 -- Hounded (2022) - Not a great start to the year with this. Very poor film in my opinion. #1
01.01.23 -- Christmas Bloody Christmas (2022) - So disappointed. I really had high hopes for this to be quirky but it missed the mark. #2
01.01.23 -- Banshees of Inishireen (2022) - finally a good movie this year. I really loved the dark comedic nature of this. #3
02.01.23 -- X (2022) - I didn't like this movie the first time I saw it. Much preferred this rewatch. #4
02.01.23 -- The Batman (2022) - Absolute classic in my view. Rewatch holds up #5
08.01.23 - The Cabin in the Woods (2012) - Love this movie. Great horror film. #6
09.01.23 - Scrooged (1988) - This is a classic. Love me some Bill Murray. #7
09.01.23 - Slaxx (2020) - this was poor. Surprisingly good budget for what was a badly acted film. #8
10.01.23 - Shawshank Redemption (1994) - Absolute classic film. My all time great film. #9
11.01.23 - Feast (2005) - this was poor. Absolutely not for me. #10
12.01.23 - Tactical Force (2011) - This wasn't great. Basic action flick #11
13.01.23 - Alive (2018) - This was pure torture porn. Not for me. The twist though was excellent, #12
14.01.23 - Shook (2021) - I actually enjoyed this more than I expected. #13
14.01.23 - Those who Wish me Dead (2021) - Love this film. Angelina is great. #14
15.01.23 - Slayers (2022) - This was absolutely terrible. Not a fan. #15
16.01.23 - Cold Pursuit (2019) - I enjoyed this. Dark comedy at its best. #16
17.01.23 - Message Man (2018) - Would love a sequel for this. Genuinely a solid action flick. #17
18.01.23 - Hellraiser (2022) - This had it's weird moments but overall I liked this new take on the Hellraiser mythology. #18
19.01.23 - The Commuter (2018) - Not a bad Liam Neeson action flick. Great cast! #19
19.01.23 - Fantastic Beasts: Secrets of Dumbledore (2022) - Quite enjoy this film. Do like Mads' take on Grindlewald. #20
20.01.23 - Blade (1998) - What a classic. Forgot how good Wesley Snipes was as the Daywalker. #21
21.01.23 - The Wolf of Snow Hollow (2020) - Absolutely love this movie. Keeps you guessing to the end. #22
22.01.23 - Scream 5 (2022) - Brilliant new entry into the franchise. I'm a fan. #23
23.01.23 - The Warriors (1979) - First movie I remember watching. What a classic. #24
24.01.23 - Bullet to the Head (2012) - TBH I think the actors made this more fun than it had any right to be. #25
24.01.23 - The Neighbour (2016) - I found this to be quite poor. Absolutely not the movie for me. #26
25.01.23 - M3gan (2023) - I genuinely really liked this, surprised at how good it actually was. #27
26.01.23 - Broken Arrow (1996) - This was pretty underwhelming and I like an old action movie. #28
27.01.23 - Initiation (2020) - This was a decent little slasher movie. #29
28.01.23 - Vesper (2023) - This was a weird film. Not terrible but weird. #30
28.01.23 - The Menu (2022) - I like this film. Love me some dark comedy. #31

01.02.23 - Unwelcome (2022) - My word this was a weird film. Not a bad film but not one I'd wish to see again. #35
02.02.23 - Non Stop (2014) - I dig this. Fun little Liam Neeson action film with a solid cast. #36
02.02.23 - Wild Hogs (2007) - A nice easy watch. Love this film. #37
03.02.23 - Circle (2015) - A decent film. Love the twist ending. #38
04.02.23 - On the Record (2022) - Very interesting film. Not what I expected. #39
05.02.23 - Little Nicky (2000) - Film from my childhood. So watchable ha. #40
05.02.23 - The League of Extraordinary Gentleman (2003) - First rewatch since I was a kid. It's a mess sadly. Hope someone redoes this. #41
05.02.23 - Tomb Raider (2018) - I actually enjoyed this film. Surprised we never got a sequel. #42
06.02.23 - Day after Tomorrow (2004) - Classic film. Still holds up. #43
07.08.23 - Volcano (1997) - This was super cheesy 90s disaster flick. #44
08.02.23 - Knock at the Cabin (2023) - Very peculiar film. I thought Batista did a great job. #45
09.02.23 - House of Wax (2005) - Not a bad little slasher movie flick. Surprised we never got any follow ups. #46

11.02.23 - Cop Land (1997) - This wasn't bad. Wasn't as big on it as I expected to be which is a shame. #48
11.02.23 - Unbearable weight of massive talent (2022) - Got to love this film. I'm a big fan of the Cage. #49
12.02.23 - Babylon (2023) - I actually enjoyed this but fuck me did I feel the run time. #50
13.02.23 - Con Air (1997) - A classic action flick in my eyes. Loved it. #51
14.02.23 - The Devil Wears Prada (2006) - A true classic in my eyes. Love the performances. #52
15.02.23 - The Invitation (2015) - very under rated flick. Such a tense thriller. #53

Here's my movie log for the year, sorted by the year the movies were released and color coded to easily indicate my ratings for them. I gave no movies the full five stars this year, so basically under two stars = red, two-two and a half stars = orange, three-three and a half stars = blue and four stars and above = green. Three stars is basically the baseline of being a movie that I enjoyed enough to rewatch. Flat two stars and below are ones I would certainly avoid.

This is essentially my second year of really watching movies, and I didn't log as many as last year. I'm still looking forward to digging further into movies next year and hopefully getting more under my belt than I did this year.
