Knowing Magic and the way he approaches games is different than being able to read Magic.'s alignment. Magic respects no one as either town or scum. He's the best, he knows he's the best and he could not give a shit about anyone else. He cares only about winning. Magic is also nuanced and subtle, he can push an agenda without going HeY YoU GUys I'M CHImP and tbhayley, Magic is the first person you'd try and recruit - just in case. Magic would back himself on that without feeling the need to hint - it's all about ego that he can, unfortunatley, back up.

Have you seen anything from Magic during your time playing with him (forgive me, I don't know who you are so I don't know how long you've been playing) that would tell you any different?

But your immediate leap to his defence when no-ones really pushed him is odd and the bouncing between "I can't read Magic but I know how he approaches games" is weak. If you know how he approaches games and you're confident enough about him to talk about who he respects and how he can push agendas, you'd at least know how he tends to approach games as scum/town giving your level of experience and history with him.

Sometimes there's reasons for things that you can't understand D1 and that's a fine thing for there to be. No one needs to know everything straight away.

Apologies for not being active, I got into a fight with my girlfriend yesterday which made me feeling pretty down. We’re okay now though.
