Announcement WS Fave Five Series - #1 - Movies of 2000

I want to thank the 11 peeps, who sent in a list. Together with mine we have 12 Fave Five (one Fave Three) lists and there are 32 different movies in total that were nominated for this countdown.

I had to turn down three movies, since neither of those had North American theatrical releases in the year 2000. These movies were The Crimson Rivers, Sexy Beast and Battle Royale. Interestingly enough, this helped the winning movie in the end.

I will tag you every time one of the movies you nominated shows up in the countdown. We will go through the list over the next couple of days/weeks, so check in from time to time to see what placed. We'll start with all the 10-Pointers, which I will post later in the day.

As much as Elizabeth Hurley had me raging in a good way being 12 at the time the Movie itself has alot of heart going for it. Elliot was trying to find the perfect Wife/GF and life he figured out he didn't need to make wishes to have that in his life.

I saw Bedazzled twice back then, I'd say and from what I remember it is quite the underrated flick. Not sure if I'd say the same, if I'd watch it again today, but it is likely... just with anything Fraser was in really.

I love Ready to Rumble but left it off in favor of others, I’m glad it got shown some love though.

Emperor’s New Groove is one of my favorite Disney movies, Me Myself and Irene is fun as is Bedazzled.
