Someone who can put up 15, 5, 5, 1, and 1 isn't someone who should be classified as "ain't shit"
Generally an 80 guy has skill attributes. Batums D isn't elite at all so he shouldn't be an anchor or lockdown in a sim based on his opponent per, efg, rpm, or ppp. He's a decent shooter but his mid game and post conversion sucks, so you can give him spot up, but not Deadeye or finisher. Then there's his rebounding which is average at best on the wing when you have 2s and 3s who average more. He isn't a shot creator, and he doesn't run the O as he gets assists off hockey plays. And Aldridge is rightfully labeled an 84 like Lillard, none all stars. I don't see how you can gie him and 80 in a sim game based off the way his actual play is when you break it down. He an inferior version of Prince in Detorit when you break everything down, and he lacks durability to boot.

I think Nash is a 77-79 and Manu the same at best btw, and Batum didn't even impact his team more than those hobbled messes last year, nor have their efficiency

And thank god they took away LeBron closer ability. Probably would have given Kobe post proficiency seeing as he statistically was the best ppp post up guy in all the league last year and finished his post ups in the mid area 11% over league average but I guess they rather him keep heat retention

Edit looking at the list 2k agreed with me as they took away Batums skill sets and just made him a chase down, interceptor, and catch and shoot guy. They looked at the numbers and saw he wasn't shit behind the averages.

Also good to se Dwight and Perk lose defensive anchor after later year and same both Deron and Manus Closer ability getting took away

Who said anything about him being elite? Elite and being a 80 doesn't make any sense unless its a high 80.

As for the legends you're going to be let down as they didn't add any new teams or players but took out stuff like Dream team and 01 Kings. Seems like they just ignored that with the addition of Euro League pretty lame.

Pretty sure they only took closer away from Lebron cause of the added the coast to coast thing even though if there ever a time for him to have closer it would be after last year.

I don't use the Dream Team or the Queens especially withou Webber. Not mad at that, I'd rather use Barcelona tbh. Just give me a Showtime with Kareem and/or Wilkes. Keep the Bulls teams and maybe add King. Lastly, if you are going to use the Lakers add NVE, Ceballos, and Fox (really miss pretty ricky as chick called him) or just make a 2001 team with Harper, Horace, Horry, Fish, Kobe, Shaq, and Shaw

Have you seen the other 80s? Millsap, Lopez, and the like who all have more of a statistical impact with their presence than Batum. I just happen to think he needs to do something on a close to elite level or be an impact guy (he really isnt with his in and off court numbers) to get an 80. He really doesn't fit that bill just like Klay Thompson for example.

I just felt instead of taking out the Kings just add Webber and add the rest of the missing players to their proper teams. Having that 84-85 Philly team without DR J and Charles is just stupid esp when Charles was in the game last year on the dream team.

Charles has never signed on to be part of a game aside from the Dream Team. Even some of the old lives have created guys for him. Inside Drive also didnt have him.

Agreed about finishing touches on rosters. Lakers (Kareem, Wilkes, McAdoo, Fox, NVE), Sixers (add Fred Carter, Snow, and Dr J), Bulls (King), Kings (Webber), and Utah (Byron Russell)

Let me know if you want to be beat on 2k, I'm up now lol

That's pretty weird that he signed for dream team but not to be in the game otherwise.

And alright getting on now.

This is probably the most I've done mock drafts since being in this league which is like 4 (that I've finished all the way through) and still plan on doing more. Starting to get a good idea of what guys I want.

I'll start looking into researching my draft next week.

Still 2 weeks out from the draft.

i only did 1 full draft, but like a dozen more 2 round drafts, just to see the odds of getting my top picks.
