Yes, you said it in FAR less detail than Waco did. Plus I like Wako; he can get away with that.

I agree, to you "The crowd are" sounds and is correct as far as you're concerned, because that's what your language dictates. However, for the U.S. American English standard, it is incredibly wrong and makes me want to punch someone in the throat when I see it written that way. So, there you have it.

I'm with RKO; it needs to be changed to American English.
