I can't get behind this idea lol. FTR want to stay in AEW and wouldn't get the tag team spotlight or the schedule they desire, while TK would get two main event guys.

Fuck it I got a good one. 2 teams with expiring contracts. Give both performers a chance with a new audience. If it don't work easy out for all sides and hell you can always resign the original guy too once their contract is up.

I really enjoyed your realism. Teams always trade expiring contracts, so McIntyre for Ospreay swap. We miss out on McIntyre challenging at Crown Jewel, but WWE has just a couple short months to convince Ospreay to sign long-term with WWE instead of AEW.
And perhaps eventually McIntyre's contract expires and joins AEW. So no harm, no foul.

I've always wondered what Billy and the Acclaimed (or even the Gunns) would do in WWE right now... but they need more than Alpha Academy and Maxxine tbh. Especially with The Acclaimed's merchandise sales and Billy Gunn's veteran presence.
AEW counters by requesting Rey Mysterio in the deal.
(especially since The Acclaimed/Gunn and Mysterio are all champions lol)
