I gotta say two things.

One, this thread has been a great source of entertainment.

Two, "A Once in a Lifetime Athlete" is basically anyone who has made an impact in that sport and will be looked at as a great or a influence on the younger generation. Also, if you base everything on stats over skill then you sadly wrong because stats look good, but don't play out well.

Joe Lewis, Mohammed Ali, Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, Joe Dimaggio, Joe Montana, Tom Brady, Greg Maddux... those are once in a lifetime athletes. Lesnar is not fit to hold their fucking jockstraps.

Get Tom's whinny ass out of that list and I will like it, lol. Oh, I agree and that was my point. Brock is pretty standard and with his history of steroid abuse he really isn't something special and is no more than a cheater kind of like Mark McGuire, Sammy Sosa, Barry Bonds, etc.

Kurt Angle is a broken, injured fighter who would put on the match of his life if WWE allowed him too. Lesnar is completely in shape and had been for years with no major injuries since the diverticulitis, yet Lesnar won't do a match nearly as long as Angle is willing too. He just wants to do a German Suplex (which I can do) 100000 times and then an f5. Anyone who thinks this guy is a once in a lifetime athlete knows nothing about athletes.

I wish I could Like and Agree with these comments 1 million times.

By the way let him be right on Lesnar being Unique. Yeah he is definitely unique in the most shittiest boring ass way possible. All he wants is a Check. He doesn't care about the fans or any damn body. And wanting a Check and not caring about fans is a Once In A Lifetime thing.... :emoji_unamused:

If you see statue monuments of the Greatest Athletes Ever, Brock Lesnar would be a speck of Bird Shit.

Tom is my age and was the MVP last season. You might not like him but you can't deny his ability.

Him doing safe and lazy wrestling matches in 2018 doesn't really come into my mind when analysing he's all time athletic prowesse.

For some reason you think because Brock wasn't able to win a few MMA matches (considering he isn't disciplined in any martial art at a high level) and that he only does suplexes in pro wrestling matches discredits he's exceptional athletic ability.

Also, if you base everything on stats over skill then you sadly wrong because stats look good, but don't play out well.
I have already said that Brock is shit at skill. But skill does not equal athleticism at all.

Two, "A Once in a Lifetime Athlete" is basically anyone who has made an impact in that sport and will be looked at as a great or a influence on the younger generation.
I disagree. I think to say Brock's athletic ability is astonishing is a perfectly fine opinion to have. When I said he was a once in a lifetime athlete I wasn't thinking he was a great sportsman because he isn't. Like I previously said, he is a shit sportsman. He has only exceled in sport because he is a gentic monster.

Ok so this has obviously been a misunderstanding of language. Cuz I did not infer that he was in any way better then any of those names. Undeniably Brock's athletic ability is extranordinary and I don't see how him being a shit sportsman undermines that when you are talki ng about athletic ability alone. Maybe the choice of words of 'once in a lifetime' make you think I think that he is a legendary sportsman and better then the likes of Jessy Owens and the klitschko brothers. But I like to say that I don't think that despite what you are inferring.

All I'm saying is Brock is a extremley unique athlete that is very rare. That doesn't mean i'm saying he is the best sportsman of all time cuz as I said ages ago Brock is a shit sportsman.

I wish I could this a lot of winners because at least every athlete in a sport enjoys it while Brock doesn't care about Professional Wrestling nor Football or even MMA. He just wants a check and that is it. Plus, I have heard way too many stories about Brock not caring for Professional Wrestling and shitting on the fans, so fuck him.

:haunter::haunter::haunter::haunter::haunter::haunter::haunter::haunter::haunter:
Even though I hate the guy and think he is a whiny bitch and so forth. He is a good QB and enjoys the sport.

You may rate that funny, Seth, but Ty Cobb was one of the biggest assholes in baseball history but you can't deny his ability. Tom Brady's ego is bigger than it should be, maybe, but I won't deny his ability. I'm a diehard Joe Montana and John Elway guy, but I will never doubt Brady's ability because even though I don't like the Patriots, I respect ability and that is the whole point of this conversation.

I took away the funny rating. Happy? Yeah, I know Ty Cobb was an asshole and everything and if you read what I replied to you with it would show that yeah I hate Brady and I think he is a whinny ass, but I do know he has great ability and everything. I hate Montana and Elway since I was a Raiders fan, but I still acknowledge their skill and abilities. I mean, I hate Mayweather as well, but I can't deny his skill and ability. Just because I hate someone doesn't mean I don't see their skill and/or ability though are some who I purely hate and see nothing special about because of one reason or another.

I didn't ask you to take away the funny rating and you can add it back if you want to. However, I didn't understand why you thought that was "funny." It came across as you belittling my opinion. Whether that was your intent or not is irrelevant, but that's how it came across. I hate Mayweather with a burning passion. Hell, I fucking hate Babe Ruth if truth be told. But I never deny anyone's ability no matter how much I hate them.

One thing I don't care about are ratings, but that doesn't mean I won't look deeper into them to understand intention.

Okay. That was my point while I hate Tom or Elway or anyone else, I will never deny certain people's ability and skill to do whatever sport they do.

The definition of a Sportsman is, one who compete within the world of sports professionally and inside the rules.

A Once In A Lifetime athlete is someone who is different from all the others past, present, and future. They make an impact so great they become a big name inside and outside of the sports world. They basically like rare Treasures and/or Jewels in sports.

What you are describing like it or not is a person that is very athletic. You basically haven't seen or dug deep enough into the sports world. Because you will find tons of guys more athletic than Lesnar.

I tip my hat to you, my friend. You put it perfectly.
