According to sources, the locker room morale in TNA is said to be down. This is due to the company’s policy regarding the pay for the majority of wrestlers going forward. With TNA running a live iMPACT! and then taping the following week’s show the same night, the majority of the talent will only be paid for a single appearance regardless of whether they work more than once. This means that those talents will be losing money compared to when iMPACT! was taped on a weekly basis.

One source has stated that this has frustrated the locker room and that it will affect roughly 80 percent of the talent in the company. Many talents are said to be anxious for their contracts to expire so they can negotiate to change the wording in their contracts.

Feels like I should bust out Batista for this.

If this is true, TNA needs to change things up. It worked back when they were at the fairgrounds and shot one month of TV over 4 days because guys go paid for each night.

Hope it isn't true, but seems plausible. Hopefully once the contracts are up -- if TNA isn't willing to re-word them now -- TNA will be willing to change the wording in them to reflect this change in schedule so that their wrestlers can still get paid accordingly with the shows they work.

Dunno if true yet, but I know mah man Bobby Roode got a big raise in pay!

But didn't he also sit on a fair bit of leverage? With being a main eventer and one half of the tag champs and with being a hot comodety that Triple H wants. + with Pritchard fucking up his contract he was sitting on a pretty stacked deck once it came to negotiations.

Yeah, he was a free agent for a week or so, and he did have a leverage, and kudos to him for pulling it.

Seems like a temporary issue while they transition to being on the road full time (if it is true at all). While there are better ways to help keep finances tight during this transitional period, i don't think hitting the guys in their pocket is the way to go. Maybe they should take from Hogan and Bischoff's salary to pay everyone else.

I bet Brooke's salary isn't affected at all by this change brother :hogan:
