Wrestler teases heel turn? Possible future heel turn?

The Miz cut a heel promo before his match with Kofi Kingston during WWE's house show in Belfast.

Whether the promo was a one-time thing for the live international crowd or a sign of things to come isn't yet known. Miz has been doing recent media interviews in character and acted upset about the things that have happened to him on TV, which could be a justification for a turn.

Either way The Miz is still the same boring guy. Heel or not, don't care much for him. I could see Miz turning heel after the Backstage Fallout crap on Youtube, but yeah... whether it's a heel turn or not. I have zero interest.

Usually it's mainly just for the house show loop, but I hope it is the start of the heel turn because he's been truly terrible as a face and his fall from his grace has been quite alarming.

Maybe he's finally out of the doghouse and WWE is giving him another chance? Make sure he stays away from the WWE title and I will like where this is going.

Well he definitely needs something because his face run has been nothing short of terrible. Maybe this heel run will give him new life.

His face turn would've been fine if those smarky fucks could get over themselves and not sabotage it when the kids were getting behind him.

How would him bitching about his spot make him heel? Ziggler does it, and everyone is like "yeah, stop burying him". And I don't think Ziggler is any better than Mik Mizanin, spastic bumping doesn't make you great imo.

Here's what I found from someone who was at the show and in fairness it does add up and make sense. Whether they continue with it or not is another matter.

When he entered he got a great reception with a fair proportion of the crowd chanting "Miz is awesome" etc but promptly seized a mic and lambasted the crowd for cheering for whoever had been chokeslamming or attacking him in recent weeks. He gave it the whole "really? I'm awesome?" thing "Really? Really? Really? You people make me sick, I don;t need you people blah blah blah".

I had high hopes for the face turn but it really sucked from the start. I'd be fine with a heel turn, but really just don't care anymore.

I think Miz can still do something. He just needs a decent run. Instead of all of these random matches leading nowhere.

Miz shouldn't have been put in with push sucking Wade Barrett, really killed what face momentum he was gaining, not to mention the 100 fans in attendance who start chants making it look like he wasn't getting over.

Miz should be on top of the cards, because he has a personality, but if he turns heel. Maybe he goes back to maineventing Wrestlemania so I'd be all for it.

I don't understand why when he fell out of the WWE Title scene, why he wasn't put over on SmackDown to be THE heel on SmackDown. He's got pretty much all the tools and lets face it, it wouldn't have been anywhere near as bad as having to endure these past few years of Del Rio.

That speech if did on TV can very easily be pitched as a redefined face character. He wants to prove he's awesome and gain respect. Its good because it can go either way and Miz is a hell of a talker outside the MizTV restraints

MizTV was booked so poorly it almost looked like sabotage, this guy needs to write a book about his WWE experiences.

It's probably likely to be a one time thing. I was listening to a PWInsider elite audio the other day, and Mike Johnson mentioned that Miz was only heel because they were short of heels, so they asked Miz to go out and go heel on the crowd.
