9/10. Not the best promo guy but one of the greats. Been invested in every storyline he was in since when I first started watching until when he left. Can't remember a bad match, but then again his top match aren't on the same level of the best matches of guys like Styles, D-Bry and even Seth Rollins.

But a major prick outside of kayfabe

Unfortunately you’re very right my man. Punk is one of the biggest assholes in the bussines outside of the ring.

Btw guys Punk’s current WWEF voted grade is 9,1. Seems precise.

A great wrestler, a great entertainer, not on the level of great athletes like Bret, HBK, Hennig, Eddie, Angle, Jericho, Benoit but he could always deliver. We will never know how far he could go had WWE not botched the Summer of Punk but I was never a fan of "what if" scenarios and only care about what happened. Like I said, a great athlete but the way how he left WWE made him somehow overrated. 7/10

Cena screwing Mysterio out of being WWE Champion in kayfabe will always irrationally piss me off

I mean, Cena could have just had his match for the title vs. Mysterio the next week, but they decided to blow their load on the night Mysterio won the title.

Perfect timing was to do it the same night Rey won it. CM Punk was already scheduled to cut a promo against Cena that night and fans wanted that scene right away.

The fans didn't know that. Rey had already competed in the night after going through a tournament to win the title. Cena shouldn't have just came in and demand a title shot, especially when he lost the title to Punk in Chicago.

If they wanted Punk to face down Cena, have Cena confront Rey and challenge him to a match next week/at the next PPV, and then have Punk come out and also demand a match to prove who is the true champion.

Then you can either have Cena/Rey leading into Cena/Punk, or have a triple threat with Cena/Punk/Rey.

Wow...I completely disagree with every point you made.

A week later would have been better...and allowed Cena
to not look like a heel in the process...and Punk could
have shown up the next week...and as far as what the
fans want? When has the WWE ever really cared about
that in the current era?

The real question is how many more "WWE Ruined The Summer of Punk" videos will we get because I saw that one last night, and while it is good, it just repeats the same thing as others.

Well for me I'd never watched any other videos about the "Summer of Punk"
& thanks to this one I'll never have to watch another one. And as far as how
many more videos will be made about the "Summer of Punk"? Well who can
say?

Youtube creators need to make content & if the view counts are high...I guess
they keep making videos about Punk.

Frankly I think there are other incidents in wrestling history that have been
covered far too much...but that's just my opinion.

I understand that I was simply asking a rhetorical question.

I can agree on that as there way too many on The Screwjob and others, but Summer of Punk has quite a lot as well and thus my rhetorical question.
