Wrestlemania III is well known for Hulk Vs Andre and Savage vs Steamboat. However, another great match on the card was Adorable Adrian Adonis vs Rowdy Roddy Piper. The pre-match promos were awesome, and the crowd reaction was insane. Adonis moved very well for a man of his size. There is a reason he was nicknamed the human pinball, and it was his ability to take great bumps. Also, Jimmy Hart did a great job as the heel manager and took his share of punishment.

Also, around 12:55 a fan even entered the ring and congratulated Piper... then got took down by security. Man, the 80s were so lit!

Love this match, I don't rate WMIII as high as most but this one is probably my second favorite match after Steamboat/Savage

The whole gimmick felt like a punishment from Vince, and there's something to be said for the fact that they outright ignored his 1988 death, never acknowledging it on TV.

You never saw any of Gorgeous George or Exotic Adrian Street? A lot of their gimmicks were used in the Adorable gimmick. Guess what? All three worked. Guess what else? After Adonis' WWF was done, he took the gimmick with him to AWA. Some punishment, huh? Also had a good position when he was there.
