Wrestlemania 29 Main Event Prediction

Tonight on Live Audio Wrestling in Toronto there guest Gabe Sapolsky booker for Dragon Gate USA and formerly Ring of Honor spoke about how he went from ROH to Dragon Gate and a few other issues related to Dragon Gate. When asked about the signing of Bryan Danielson, he said that he knows that Danielson is the type of person you can build a promotion around. He feels that in the right time the WWE will realize the value of building around him and predicts and guarentees that in 2013 Danielson vs. Punk will headline Wrestlemania.

He may be half right. Punk will probably be in a high profile match, but as long as Cena and Orton are around they will be at least 1 half of the main event.

As far as Brian Danielson goes, he is at the bottom of the heap. No one knows how Danielson will perform in the WWE. I am not doubting him, I am excited to see what he can do. All I am saying is that people should not get so over hyped on this guy because when he bombs you are the same people that will have endless bitching about how WWE ruined him.

Danielson is good enough that he'll be able to adapt well to the WWE style of wrestling and make it work for him.

Yes, but as you can see they really didn't throw Punk into the big times until like 3 years later, as I said you cannot judge whether American Dragon will succeed in WWE until he actually gets there. WWE does not give a shit what you have done in ROH, they care what you do in WWE. They were pleased with what CM Punk did in WWE and THAT'S why he is where he is at.

I said earlier, that I don't want to see Danielson bomb, but I am not going to get hyped over something that might let me down in the end.

^^as you say, they didn't throw Punk into the main event till 3 years later....well this prediction is for 4 wrestlemania's from now...so who is to say that the prediction is so off base?

But regaurdless of that I believe Vince is more intrested in ROH then a lot of you think. Lets not forget that ECW would have went out of buisness a lot sooner then they did had Vince not been privately funding them to keep them afloat. Not that I believe that ROH is in finacial trouble, but who is to say Vince won't step in to help if they do? Lets face it, Vince can't aford to bring in everyone he wants into developement so he is going to pay attention to the larger indy companies for future talent as well.
