Morning all,

I can see in the chat room some confusion over the upcoming schedule for the World Prediction Championship (WPC) so this thread is to clear that up and simplify things a little... hopefully!

I'm removing tomorrows NJPW Dominion event from our schedule due to lack of a full match card. Their New Japan Cup finals are in progress as we speak and I expect to see a full card coming out of that show BUT that will leave only less than 24 hours for our competitors to predict so, for simplicities sake we will not predict on that show.

Our King of the Ring Tournament will take place over four ppvs, one from each promotion (hopefully) - the current schedule for the tournament is:

Round 1: Impact Wrestling Slammiversary (July 18th)
Round 2: NJPW Summer Struggle (two card show on July 27th & 31st - need to see what the cards look like before picking one or both to predict on)
Semi-Finals: To be determined - hopefully we get an AEW show in here.
Finals: WWE Summerslam weekend (SS is August 23rd). If we get a Takeover show then this will be our first "SuperShow" and predictions will be made across both cards for one WPC event.

This is the schedule for King of the Ring only, if other PPVs happen in between round 2 and the final (with a pre-announced card!) then the title will be up for grabs on those - if anybody knows of a site that lists all upcoming PPVs then let me know because at the minute I'm just grabbing what I see advertised.

In terms of the King of the Ring tournament & bracket, by removing DOMINION from the schedule we have locked our competitors in and the full bracket will be posted tommorow.

We will not be predicting for Extreme Rules as a 24 hour turn around is too tight (right now at least, maybe there's a more efficient way to do things)

You can keep up with the current schedule for the WPC by clicking here, I update it along with this rankings table after I post the results for every match we take part in.

So, what questions do you have?

Personally I'd rather predict Extreme Rules instead of Slammiversary if that 24 hour window is too short lol don't think it'd be too bad of an idea to combine them in one contest even though they're separate companies or even just doing them separate and just having us predict both so there is a good chance someone becomes a one day champions.

Can see negatives will all those situations though bc it's a weird schedule to try and make so I'm cool with just doing Slammiversary next weekend too since we haven't done any Impact PPV yet

Watch if he goes with the suggestion of doing them both with a quick turnaround to Extreme Rules I'm gonna be the one day champion who loses it bc I was the one that suggested it :mj4

I can get behind us predicting both shows.

Yeah I'm cool with predicting either way, but for sure TNA and NJPW's Shows is where I move up and start electric sliding on some fools.
