World Prediction Championship 2021 Event #31 Results

Ultima Opurtunidad is the penultimate event of the WPC 2021 season, in which we will see four of our Divisional Ranking being decided - as well as discovering who our final four predictors in the Round Of Four in the hope of becoming the inaugural WPC Universal Champion. As well as four singles championships being put on the line during this massive event - that although some matches were voided from the ballot, a total of 27 matches were predicted on this weekend.

SINGLES DIVISION

Our first focus will be the Grand Championship, that see Jeff battle reigning champion HoHo in what will no doubt be an extremely tough matches between two elite predictors in the WPC this season.

FxGiNgZ3PyXS3TaFuHzFx3dvpgNnxKXAj-JPRrxrPrCJmz3az-6mScNbNCYb83q_R2vJNQbvDoKNxUge31nOX-bELx2NnEpV6DIqkevmvFdgjjCpXTJP8gA1S4sgCkKG418Sa2sh

1st.Jeff234+19
2nd.HoHo225+17

In a match, that sees a margin of just one solitary victory - which means that finally after multiple attempts to become the Grand Champion, Jeff finally accomplishes this achievement and by doing so become the 3rd Grand Slam in WPC history.

Jeff

Our second focus will be the Grand Prix Event Champion, in which Juice enters the event as the reigning champion. Going into this event, if Chris manages to win the belt then he will earn himself a shot at the Grand Championship via 'Option-E' as the only predictor who is eligible at this point at the latter stages of the year.

For the second time this season, and the fifth time in his WPC career - Lethal Banks become the new Event Champion.

Lethal Banks

Our next focus is the the !nteractive Championship Division, which continues to run as an experimental division with WPC that uses a 'Head 2 Head Matchplay' mechanic. Points are earned in the following ways:

A Win = 1 point
A Loss = -2 points
A Draw = 0 points
A Championship Loss = -5 points
A Championship Draw = Granted The Next Title Shot + 0 points
The Champion earns no points

We are now are aware going into the !nteractive Championship match between Jeff and Juice, that if Jeff retains the title belt then they will be forced to vacate it - due to becoming the new Grand Champion.

Chris [21] vs. [25] Lethal Banks

The Fourth Wall [22] vs. [20] Jimmy King

Blaze [0] vs. [19] LadyHotRod

Jeff claims an impressive victory over Juice to end the night as a triple champion, but is forced to vacate the !nteractive Championship following the conclusion of this event.

There will be one final match up for the !nteractive Championship, that in theory will take place between Lethal Banks and Chris - dependent on the card for the season finale.

The final match that we look at for this event, is the match between current Cup Holder Fourth and Smark as they battle it out for the Clout Cup - with the loser knowing they will be ineligible to compete for the cup for the rest of the season.

We now will confirm the winner/s of five of our Division, with winners for AAA, NWA, NXT, GCW and American Independents being crowned. Prior to the 2021 season, there was no active divisions for three of the following Division - meaning that these winners will be the first in the lineage.

We start our focus by looking at Mexican promotion AAA:

Our final new Divisional is that of Game Changer Wrestling, which has become a massive staple in the WPC this year - largely due to the promotion offering a number of consistent live show on a regular basis with the results shown below:

We now look at the National Wrestling Alliance, which was introduced to the WPC for the first time during the WPC Grand Prix 2021 - in which Lethal Banks topped the division at 8-4 (+4).

Our final Division that we explore is NXT, which is one of the original five Divisions from the 2020 season.

The 2020 season saw Haza top the standings with a record of 17-4 (+13)

The WPC Grand Prix 2021 saw Lethal Banks top the standings with a record of 20-3 (+17)

UPDATE

The Grand Championship victory for Jeff, means that Jeff will defend the Grand Championship during the Season Finale (Event #32).

With Chris requiring Lethal and Sky to drop out of the GC Division, at this late stage of the year - he does not challenge for the Grand Championship. Also HoHo falls to back of the queue, after dropping the belt, meaning that it is in fact the new Grand Prix Event Champion Lethal Banks that will be Jeff's challenger during the Season Finale.

With Lethal booked in the Grand Championship, the newly vacated
!nteractive Championship will be contested for between Number Two & Number Three ranked Chris & Fourth in order to guarantee that the season will end with a champion, rather than a title vacancy.

Fourth continues their run as the Clout Cup Holder, and will be able to challenge a selection of Jimmy King, LadyHotRod, Juice or HoHo and is required to rank all four in preferential order ahead of the Season Finale (@Noelle Kringle )

Could not have written a better storyline. Who will end the season as champion between two tag team partners, one of which hasn't managed to beat the other when he was champ.
