World Prediction Championship 2021 Event #17 Results
Three events took place over this week - with the final event arguably being the biggest wrestling event of 2021. With ten matches up for a prediction, there was a range of results. However - we will start off proceeding by focusing on the King of the Ring Final.
Winning the tie 8-6, I am happy to pronounce that the 2021 King Of The Ring is...NECRO! (a personalised signature will be made - in the future hopefully.) Necro has now won an anytime time shot at the Grand Championship, which they can cash in at any time prior to an event - for an exclusive one on one match with the champion.

We now turn our attention to our Tag Team Division, and although there was only one match booked for this event - following the results we will have an updated standings.
WPC TAG DIVISION
The Lethal Drivers (Jeff & Lethal) vs. Dream Warriors (LadyHotRod & HoHo)
Tag Match | Name | Wins | Losses | Differential |
1st. | The Lethal Drivers | 18 | 2 | +16 |
2nd. | Dream Warriors | 15 | 5 | +10 |
We are just one round away from completing the Tag League, and despite The Lethal Drivers claiming a win at this event their hopes of winning the WPC Tag League 2021 is now out of their reach, with Like Your Team, But Better and The Blissfits in Action also unable to reach the Shield Match. SMK will take on Team Friendship and the Wall of Deth will face Dream Warriors, with the top two teams being the first teams to compete for the vacant WPC Tag Team Championships.
Whoever tops the Tag League, after the next round of match though, will win the WPC Tag League 2021 - and the Shield that goes with that honour.
Tag Division | Name | Matches | Wins | Loss | Draw | Differential | Points |
1st. | Shinjuku Murder Klub | 5/6 | 4 | 1 | 0 | 50 | 8 |
2nd. | Wall of Deth | 5/6 | 3 | 1 | 1 | 20 | 7 |
3rd. | Dream Warriors | 5/6 | 3 | 2 | 0 | 36 | 6 |
4th. | Team Friendship | 5/6 | 2 | 1 | 2 | 22 | 6 |
5th. | The Lethal Drivers | 6/6 | 2 | 3 | 1 | 54 | 5 |
6th | Like Your Team, But Better | 5/6 | 0 | 3 | 2 | 10 | 2 |
7th. | The Blissfits in Action | 5/6 | 1 | 4 | 0 | 8 | 2 |

We now focus back on our singles action, as we have three championship matches - that are in need of results.
Singles Division
We entered Event #17 with a first time WPC Grand Prix Event Champion in The Fourth Wall, but will TFW be able to finish the weekend with the belt in their possession?
WPC Grand Prix Event Championship
The Fourth Wall (c) vs. Everyone Else
GPE Championship | Name | Wins | Losses | Differential |
Tied 1st. | Jimmy King | 10 | 0 | +10 |
Tied 1st. | Blaze | 10 | 0 | +10 |
Tied 3rd. | Lethal | 9 | 1 | +8 |
Tied 3rd. | Sky | 9 | 1 | +8 |
Tied 3rd. | HoHo | 9 | 1 | +8 |
Tied 6th. | TFW | 8 | 2 | +6 |
Tied 6th. | Deth | 8 | 2 | +6 |
Tied 6th. | Smark | 8 | 2 | +6 |
9th. | LHR | 6 | 4 | +2 |
10th. | Juice | 5 | 5 | 0 |
With two predictors tied in first position, we refer to the rules in place for the GPE Championship:
- everyone not competing for another championship belt, is eligible to win the belt
- if predictors are tied in 1st place, the predictor with the lowest overall differential wins the belt
- if predictor can not be separated by their differential, then the belt is vacated
- the challenger has the advantage, if two predictors are tied 1st and one of them is the title holder, the champion loses the tie
Jimmy King came into the event with a Differential of +31, whilst Blaze only +3 - which means that with the lowest differential Blaze wins the WPC Grand Prix Event Championship for the first time. It also must be noted that both Jimmy and Blaze achieved Perfect Rounds, which were the 4th and 5th this season.
Blaze
Our next focus is the Open The Prediction Gate Championship, in clash between the first champion of the season Chris and a predictor who has come so close twice this season Jeff.
Open The Prediction Gate Championship
Jeff vs. Chris
OTPG Championship | Name | Wins | Losses | Differential |
1st. | Jeff | 9 | 1 | +8 |
2nd. | Chris | 8 | 2 | +6 |
Jeff wins the match by just one win, but that is all that is needed for 'Mr. Unlucky' to become a two-time Open The Prediction Gate Champion, and has earned himself a future shot at the Grand Championship.
Jeff
Our final focus - is a battle between our former champion Haza and the current champion Necro.
WPC Grand Championship
Necro (c) vs. Haza
Grand Championship | Name | Wins | Losses | Differential |
1st. | Haza | 9 | 1 | +8 |
2nd. | Necro | 8 | 2 | +6 |
Just edging to claim the match, Haza reclaims the Grand Championship to become the first two-time champion this season. Congratulations on your achievement.
Haza

HoHo remains The Clout Cup holder - although they will have to face The Lethal Drivers once again, due to a tie in the previous meetings.
Sky also remain the !interactive Champion following their draw with Deth, with the pair also set for Championship rematch.
Blaze became the first predictor in the history of the WPC to get 0/10 in one event to scoring a Perfect Round in the next, and is now the WPC Grand Prix Event Champion winning in a true underdog story.
Haza won the WPC Grand Championship and now stand on top of the mountain once again, and is the first two-time champion in 2021. He now has Jeff waiting in the wings as the new Open The Prediction Gate Champion, however I can confirm that at the next event - our King of the Ring Winner has decided to cash in their exclusive Grand Championship shot at the next scheduled event which I can confirm will be Death Before Dishonor XVIII (Event #18).
As a knock on effect, this will mean that everyone apart from Necro, Jeff and Haza will be eligible for Event Championship match at the next event. Despite Jeff not challenging for the Grand Championship at Event #18, he will remain the OTPG Champion and no match for the belt will take place at the next event.
As experiments continue with the !interactive Championship (with a change to the rules, going to be made today) the scoring system that is in place remains under review.
