World Prediction Championship 2021 Event #6 Results

The first AEW event of 2021 was not only the first time for predictors earn points to the AEW Division Rankings, but also a chance for a stalemate between Jeff and Lethal to possibly be broken. A total of five scheduled matches took placed, and I can guarantee that they certainly didn't go in the way anyone expected. Or did they? The first match we will be looking at will be the contest for the WPC Grand Prix Event Championship. Will HoHo successfully retain their title? Or will we have a new champion?

In an absolutely dominant performance, Necro achieved something that no one else managed at this event and that was secure a Perfect Round (the second of the 2021 season). And by doing so becomes the new Event Champion.

Our next contest is for the Open The Prediction Gate Championship, in which we see a continuation of our previous match at Event #5, although with now only Jeff and Lethal in the running for the championship and the right to the be the next challenger for the WPC Grand Championship. The loser however, will not be eligible to take part in the new OTPG Championship match.

In another close contest, separated by just win it is Lethal Banks whom becomes the new number one contender and the new Open The Prediction Gate Champion. Jeff will be forced to lick his wounds and pray that he will get another chance to challenge for the Grand Championship.

It is now been confirmed that at Event #7 we will be Chris' third title defence as the WPC Grand Champion, he will face the new Open The Prediction Gate Champion Lethal Banks in the event's main-event.

This will result in the next two highest ranked (and eligible) contenders competing for to win the OTPG Title in a Contenders Match between Haza and Jimmy King.

For the rest of the field, they will compete for the WPC Grand Prix Event Championship which is currently in Necro's possession. It has also now been confirmed, that the next event will be the final opportunity for the field to earn seeding privileges ahead of the 2021 King of Ring tournament.​
