World Prediction Championship 2021 Event #3 Results
The third event in the 2021, is an important one because it is the first time all three championships in the WPC are available. So working up the card, we will first focus on the WPC Grand Prix Event Championship.

With three predictors tied in first position, we refer to the rules in place for the GPE Championship:
- everyone not competing for another championship belt, is eligible to win the belt
- if predictors are tied in 1st place, the predictor with the lowest overall differential wins the belt
- if predictor can not be separated by their differential, then the belt is vacated
- the challenger has the advantage, if two predictors are tied 1st and one of them is the title holder, the champion loses the tie
Going into the match both Jimmy King & Juice had a +2 differential, but Smark had a differential of 0 - which means that Smark is the first WPC Grand Prix Event Champion in the 2021 season.

Our next matchup was the contest for the Open The Prediction Gate Championship, which after a last minute replacement saw Haza added into the contest to replace Veidt.

Jeff takes the clear victory in the contest, meaning that he will challenge for the WPC Grand Championship at Event #4.

Our final match of the event, saw Chris the former champion from the 2021 facing Adapting in the main-event of the evening with the winner knowing they will leave as the first Grand Champion of 2021.

With a difference of just one match victory, Chris begins the 2021 season in the way he ended the 2020 season by being in possession of the WPC Grand Championship.

Going into the Event #4 it is now confirmed that as the Open The Prediction Gate Champion Jeff is the number one contender and will cash in his championship belt to face Chris for the WPC Grand Championship.
In a similar fashion to the previous season, predictors will be rewarded for their placing in the overall standings. With Jeff and Chris both already involved in the main-event - Haza, Adapting, Jimmy King and Juice as the next highest ranked predictors will face off in a Fatal Four Way match to become the next Open The Prediction Gate Champion.
Smark becomes the first WPC Grand Prix Event Champion of 2021. As a new addition to the WPC, if someone wins the Event Champion a total of three times - they will also automatically earned themselves a future shot at the WPC Grand Championship. Titles reigns in the WPC Grand Prix 2021, are not recognised for eligibility.
