Any championship. I dunno, I'm on a bad run of luck but it's really deflating to score high and be denied. Perhaps even event specific historical percentages? Like say Jeff is picking at 83% average for AEW, and I'm picking at 78%, he has the historical 'advantage' and thus tie-breaker

You could score horribly in GCW, e.g. a differential of -6, then tie in an AEW event, and win the title as a result. Just seems a little skewed to bad performances is all.

I saw in previous forums that did this type of deal possible tie-breaker questions, e.g. what match will open, finish etc. I dunno, something more on the skill of the predictor than differential skewed by other events.

When I did predictions forever ago and was terrible at keeping up with it, I did these bonus questions and rarely were there ties.

But, I also didn't have "titles," either. You just had show winners, and then a seasonal winner at the end of a year so event ties didn't matter.

Because they rarely affected who'd winner the overall season. Just my observation, but Juice is free to do as she pleases, as she puts in the work.

I mean with the Event Championship [the Green belt] - when it was created during the Grand Prix, the basis of rewarding the lowest ranked predictor was to encourage new players to join in, otherwise - at this point in the season, there is no incentive for anyone to keep on predicting if the Grand Championships is completely unattainable. [hence if you manage to win it three times you get a title shot].

The merging of events - is done with the intention of creating a large card. And therefore less chances of ties. For example the GCW/AEW that took place on Friday. Everyone apart from one person got 3-0 in the AEW event - so on that basis that GCW event was very much the deciding factor for the tag team match matches.

I am considering a way - to change the system for potential Grand Championship draws.
Event specific historical percentages though - sound like a lot of great work. But also differential of all events - or just some events is very little difference.

The problems with questions - is that its normally one companies like WWE that show their matches in a different order from the way in which they are billed - bar a few exceptions. But I will give it some thought.

I do understand that being involved in a tie is frustrating - but I would say a tie is better than not even getting close to a tie at all.

Same. Like I do bad at ones I keep up with. so me playing these ones I don’t watch is so fun because I’m guessing. Hell I don’t watch NJPW and it’s the only one I ever did perfect at…

And I'm not having a crack at the other company events either, I actually love the wealth of content out there to predict on and maybe immerse myself into. I watched an episode of NWA the other night. Just curious as to ways to alleviate the ties that affect our title matches. Juice does a sensational job running this (I can barely be bothered to post picks let alone run the thing) so please don't take this as anything negative.

In fact, I'm now adopting my new gimmick - "The Tie Master"

Truth be told - how the WPC works at the moment. Is probably not how I will run it - if I do carry on into 2022. There is a few things I want to find a way to replace - like the OTPG Championship. Rather than opening the gate, is actually seems to close it.

I'm in theory working on some potential changes - but its a bit hard to find a way to revamp a system that is active - without creating a see-saw affect.

I also like people to share their thoughts on the system and what they like and dislike - the Event Championship was created on that basis.
