Yeah the WWE is a global business, they are I think in the next few years going to be less of a wrestling promotion and more of a entertainment company (they already are doing movies) and it will only be a matter of time before they start putting out music, books, video games and anything else that they can get money out of.

They are already doing all of that.

Don't worry though, wrestling will always be the core business because w/out wrestling, none of the other things the wwe does is possible.

What I meant on the whole music thing is actually start a record company not just putting out the theme albums.

WWE is committed to family-friendly, PG content across all of its platforms

And that's why their product sucks. Hell, even Maffew from Botchamania made fun of the WWE when he showed te ref cleaning up blood from the Cena vs Orton match at Braggin Rights. "quick, clean up the blood! Nobody bleeds in real life!"

Honestly I don't think the product sucks. The way I look at it is now the in ring product is miles better then it was back when they were more adult-oriented.

This last week on RAW is pretty much proof that WWE hates having that second W in their name. They would much rather be Disney. Especially once Vince McMahon gets his own cable channel network, you wont see any wrestling anymore. He'll make soap operas, sit coms, cartoons and action oriented programs (strictly late night production so the kids can be asleep). They'll make movies based off of their connections they've been making with all the guest hosts on RAW, and join the likes of Lionsgate or Paramount Pictures as filming giants.

I give WWE ten years before it's no longer even World Wrestling Entertainment and just becomes World Entertainment Industries.

Fuck WWE and them turning their backs on the business that made them the media giant they are today.

LOL.... Some of you apparently aren't aware of the concept of a company mission statement... That's just corporate blurrb for the eyes of investors and such.

It's not a pitch to the wrestling fans of this world.
