^ That's solely because they want to make it look like he is going to win the championship. He clearly won't but he will challenge the champ at HIAC.

I have come to the conclusion that there is several people on the WWE roster who I think need to be pushed more. Talent like Morrison, DiBiase, McIntyre and Rhodes need to be pushed into the next level and I think it would be nice to see them with a belt (Besdies the money belt :p).

Stop overreacting.

I think Sheamus will maintain the belt at Night Of Champions then I think Orton will challenge Sheamus in a HIACH match. Sheamus will win then I hope Edge or Cena win the belt off him. I can't see Orton winning the belt until at least next year.

^ Wow, I can't believe it's been that long.. Fair enough. I can see him winning at hell in a cell then. However, I can't see him taking the belt into WrestleMania. Was the last time Orton really had the belt last year? Wow.. Ortons character is currently being referred to as the "Stone Cold" of the WWE at the current moment. I see good things for him.

He never will be the Stone Cold of WWE.

I never said that Orton didn't have an upside, he does, but he is already among the top guys in the WWE, next to Cena he is quite possibly the most over face in the company, and unless that Cena heel turn that everybody on the internet is begging for he will never over take Cena as the face of the company.

Im pretty sure John Cena had it going into 2010, and Sheamus beat him a little after WM time. Cena beat Orton for it in like December or November of last year i do believe. Not sure though. Orton may have held it for like a month in 2010.

Ugh. Both Orton and Rhodes are abysmal and bore me to tears.

In regards to Rhodes, at least Rude and Martel had the right charisma to go along with the gimmick which lent it more depth than it actually had. It's just not the right fit for him.

adam you're fucking annoying, and degrade the conversation everywhere you go. It's Randy Headlock Orton. Fucking google that and come back to this conversation when you're up to speed.

and as for modern day gimmicks, CR is showing how much balls he actually has for doing such a flamboyant gimmick. Just like everything else he's done, he'll show us what we want to see when he's middeep in the mud of a decent feud. He can dew it

Bud, IMO, and im sure plenty of other peoples, Orton is better than Rhodes, everywhere if not almost everywhere. And again, your thoughts are completely biased and you appear to have a man crush on Rhodes. If you do, go look for nudes of him I guess but take it elsewhere.

.. this is what i hate about all the iwc internet reports. You have no fucking idea what the hell goes on with the promos, so stop acting you like you do. good gawd, if anything the wrestlers and writers work together.

...Yet it's ok for you to do the same?

I base my conclusions on this topic from the masses of shoot videos I've watched where guys - whether they be a legend like Flair or a jobber like Snitsky - repeatedly state that these days the majority of promos are scripted. In fact, it's widely cited as the no. 1 problem in the WWE right now. Of course, guys with experience and proven track records like HHH, HBK, Jericho and such are afforded a lot more freedom still and merely get bullet points on which to base their promos (Like would happen back in the day).

You can't tell me someone writes all of chris jericho's promos without his input, could be the other way around too. We don't fucking know. All i know is that Jericho has always took pride in his promos (see his debut promo for the WWE with rock, i think he sold the script to that on ebay)
See above... So there are a handful of exceptions... And?

gimmicks and promos are based off of the personality of the wrestler cause it's effective and realistic.

Whilst that would be a logical approach, the amount of failed gimmicks etc. clear lyshow that it is not always adheared to.

So yeah, I can base their mic skills on todays mic work especially when guys with charisma will mostly likely branch out of writers doing all of their scripts for them.

So, now you're conceeding that the majority ARE scripted? Nice.

Sheamus isn't bad

Nice to see you agreeing with me again here too.

but if he's given more mic time I think him and Santino would be a better fit to have a program.

Nice example... A guy that's extremely competent on the mic and carrying gimmicks.

oh andyou can;t even tell me that rocky and austin weren't told where to go with their promos. this isn't the 80's/early 90's.

Where to go? Yes. Scripted? No.

Their given freedom cause they know what to fucking do with it. God guy. Gimmicks and promos are based on the person. CM Punk who is competent probably has input too. Snitsky didnt. Sheamus doesnt. I said he wasnt bad but you have to be great to bein the main event. Which is why i suggested a program with Santino. hes scripted but im sure he does the extra mile and the script would end with a paragraph and an idea with 5 minutes air time. I dont fucking know and im not going to blame the script or give Santino props when it could of been the script helding his shit together. So yes again with my previous stament good gawd, if anything the wrestlers and writers work together. Getting told where to go with it and having it scripted really isnèt that much of a difference. maybe if they were able enough to act on the fly with the crowd they would given leway. So why would you blame the scripts and not the fucking wrestlers. like rly
