He also was a tubby fucking white dude with dreadlocks in TNA at the time. Like, the fuck?
Yeah remember Corny telling a story about first seeing Ed and his dreadlocks in TNA. Priceless stuff!

He also spit in his face and wanted to fight him, but Ed was so scared, he knew he was gonna get his ass whooped.Yeah remember Corny telling a story about first seeing Ed and his dreadlocks in TNA. Priceless stuff!
Naw fan.....Russo and Jarrett booked this, was supposed to be Jerry Jarret ND his son, but Vinny Ru somehow convinced him it sucked and hence the reason why most of their bug names were trashing the "TNA management" the entire show.I don't actually believe he can take credit for these guys. They debuted on the first TNA show and Russo didn't come in until July.

Got it from John Pollock, owner and operator of Post wrestling site, prolific journalist who holds water in the dirt sheet biz. You’d have to find a source for that because I’m 90% sure Russo doesn’t sign with the company until July. Basically after Ferrara quit over money. Both the Russo and TNA wikis even say July. I just looked to make sure I remembered correctly.
You have to remember they both Ferrara and Jeremy Borash on creative and Borash was basically a Russo protege as was Ferrara.

Cornette also says Russo came up with the TNA name, and so do other sources, so there is that. It's possible he was involved much earlier bit was "officially" hired in July.I’ll take that with a grain of salt since everyone else says July. Not that it matters too much. It’s a dumb gimmick no matter who in TNA decides to let that shit air.

Realized it was... dick.Russo openly admits he proposed the name to Jarrett when he told him he was opening a promotion. They’re friends. But, he didn’t work there until July. Dicks seem more Ferrara to me, but it doesn’t matter too much. TNA pulled he plays on it quickly. They realized it was ass quickly.
