Another awesome edition here. As usual, everything hit the right notes. Love the cheesiness of Crush cutting his promo in front of the radiation warning signs before the Adam Bomb debut. Probably my favourite part of this weeks update.

Lawler's segment with the Elvis impersonator was also very good, and it was nice to see a rather simple spotlight shone on HBK at the beginning of the show as well.

And I obviously marked out to see Diesel back on the show.

Just trying not to waste time by rewriting and recapping everything you've written with this feedback, but there isn't much constructive criticism to offer at this point. Can't wait for post Summerslam shenanigans.

The top of the episode was probably my favorite part. Strong TV time for Shawn Michaels, with a fantastically written promo package (I especially liked the self-narration) and a nice win in the "work rate" match of the night. Fitting for the IC Champion.

At first, I rolled my eyes at the King's Court segment. I was like yeah alright, here comes some cheesy early 90's heat. "Elvis" dubbing Jerry Lawler the real King. All I kept thinking about was how COOL it would be if Razor just came out there and smoked everyone. When I saw the pink caddy, I KNEW you were about to make my day lol. The reveal of Razor as the "grease monkey" was a nice touch. Even better was poser Elvis being in on the attack! It shows Razor can be cunning when he needs to be.

"Wait just a minute - that's not really ELVIS!" might be the greatest line in the history of pro wrestling commentary. Legitimate lol moment for me.

I'm a little bummed that neither of the two marquee matches of Hogan/Bret and Sting/Yokozuna had further development, but I understand there are a lot of mouths to feed, especially with one hour of TV time a week and a big PPV coming up. In that regard, I thought this episode did a great job fleshing out many of SummerSlam's lower card match ups. The Undertaker is my all-time favorite wrestler, but I have to admit, I don't enjoy much of his work around this time period. And even here, when the gong hits and the lights come up, I was disappointed that the Deadman himself wasn't the reveal! But I can definitely imagine the funeral wreaths as warning sign happening in 1993. Subtle yet effective.

The Crush and Doink/Ringmaster story hasn't resonated with me yet, BUT this latest chapter certainly made an impact. Big cuzzie no selling the taser was a very cool moment. Talk about setting the tone. And what a crazy ass look he has! Crush and Adam Bomb are guys I'm aware of, but probably have never watched and definitely have no nostalgic memory of. So I'm a clean slate when it comes to this new power house duo. And sir, now you have my attention.
