Vince McMahon: "There will be changes made to each roster of the WWE. There will be superstars that will have their contract terminated while there will be superstars who we have convinced to return full-time. All Championship Belts will be vacated to give a fresh chance to everyone although the former champions will get their shot. I have done this to add some more entertainment into wrestling while keeping the true essence of wrestling. I have hired a new creative writer and I'm proud to introduce him, Paul Williams, a highly renowned creative writer and we are happy to have him here. Ladies and Gentlemen, we hope you enjoy more than ever

WWE: Monday Night Raw - October 4, 2008

Raw opens with the former WWE Champion, Randy Orton making his way to the ring. Orton talks about how he's been stripped of his title just because it's what the fans wanted. Then he switches subjects as he talks about the return of Stone Cold and how he's just another victim to further establish himself as the Legend Killer.

Stone Cold walks out to a huge ovation from the crowd as Stone Cold talks about how he's been sitting down and watch Orton cheat his way to victory every week. He's sick of that. And he's returned for one reason only, to whoop some ass! Now here's Austin's proposition, it's either Orton gets his ass whopped right now, or he will have to wait till' Halloween Havoc! Orton takes off his shirt and gets ready to fight as a referee heads down. General Manager Teddy Long comes out and announces that if Stone Cold beats Randy, then they will both face off each other at Halloween Havoc...for the WWE Championship! Holla Holla Holla!

Match 1 - If Austin wins, he will face Orton again for the WWE Title
Stone Cold vs. Randy Orton

It started out with Orton cowarding away from Austin before he eventually uses his dirty tactics to gain control. The match doesn't last long enough though as The Big Show heads down to the ring and sends Austin to the outside causing a disqualification win for him.

Your winner by DQ: Stone Cold

Randy is furious and gives The Big Show a big RKO! Teddy Long heads out and says that since Austin didn't really deserve his title shot, at the main event it will be Stone Cold and The Big Show facing Randy Orton and his chosen partner, and if Show and Austin win, they will get their title shots at Halloween Havoc!

Orton seems more furious as he turns around and meets a Stone Cold Stunner, knocking him out!

Commercial Break

Backstage we see Shawn Michaels in his locker room as the commentators hype up his watch with CM Punk later tonight!

Match 2 - Singles Match
John Morrison w/ The Miz vs. Shelton Benjamin w/ Charlie Haas

The match was fast-paced and entertaining for a TV match. Both men showing why they were successful in their singles careers switching momentum back-and-forth. The ending saw Morrison roll up Shelton for the win.

Your winner: John Morrison w/ The Miz

Morrison and The Miz gesture about how they want the tag team titles badly! They get on the mic telling everyone that they are on the verge of becoming the new Tag Team Champions, and no one can stop them!

Commercial Break

Mr. Kennedy heads down to the ring and talks about how he should be crowned the new Intercontinental Champion! He says that he is unstoppable and that no one can stop him from gaining that title, no one! Suddenly Kane comes out and gives a short talk about how he's the man that's going to stop Mr. Kennedy! Kane then goes on to give him a Chokeslam! Teddy Long heads out and announces that at Halloween Havoc we have Kane vs. Mr. Kennedy for the Intercontinental Championship!

Shawn Michaels is seen walking as CM Punk vs. HBK is up next!

Commercial Break

Match 3 - Singles Match
Shawn Michaels vs. CM Punk

The match is as expected by everyone, entertaining. Bodies flying and knocking out each other. HBK does well to work through Punk before they reach the climax. Momentum switches as HBK goes for the Superkick but only meets an Anaconda Vice. HBK releases himself from the hold and knocks down Sweet Chin Music. HBK covers but Chris Jericho and Elijah Burke interfere and they start assulting both men.

No Contest

The crowd boo as the commentators talk about how they are from Smackdown! and they are going into business they are not apart of. Jericho smashes the Lionsault as Burke gives Punk a Extreme Express. Both men stand tall as the crowd boo them both.

Commercial Break

We are back and we see Teddy Long having guards helping Burke and Jericho exit the building as HBK and Punk come rushing and they all brawl together! Guards separate both teams as we cut to a new image.

Edge comes down to the ring and talks about how he also wants a shot at the WWE Championship. He says that it's unfair that Austin and Orton and Show get to fight for it but leaves Edge out of the picture. Edge is the Rated R Superstar and he deserves better which is why he will stop complaining and he will show the world why he deserves a shot at the title! Edge drops the mic as he walks out with a determined look on his face.

Backstage we cut to Triple H's locker room and Orton approaches him asking him to be his tag team partner tonight. HHH agrees but warns Orton that everyone is after the opportunity to get a chance at the WWE Championship! Orton walks away as HHH looks on

Commercial Break

Match 4 - Tag Team Match
Christian & Umaga vs. Jobbers

Squash match. Umaga and Christian show their domination before finishing the match off with the Unprettier.

Your winners: Umaga & Christian

Both men celebrate their win as the crowd boo. Christian gets on the mic and tells the world that they don't need to introduce themselves and that it doesn't take Einstein to figure out that Christian deserves a shot at the WWE Title. Umaga snaps and gets him from behind and knocks him down with a Samoan Drop before running wild saying that he wants the WWE Title aswell.

Commercial Break

Teddy Long looks on from his screen and nods his head and announces that Halloween Havoc will be an "All Raw Pay-Per-View" showing and that he's announced that next week he has plans regarding everyone's problems for the shot at the WWE Title.

We see a video promo saying "In 4 weeks time, All Hell Breaks Loose"

The Main Event is coming up, next!

Commercial Break

Main Event - If Austin and Show win, they get their title shots
Randy Orton & Triple H vs. Stone Cold & The Big Show

The match started out slowly with Show and Triple H before picking up the pace and seeing Orton and HHH gain control. The match goes back-and-forth before seeing Show going on a run and swinging momentum on his side. The match ends Orton going for the RKO but runs into a Pedigree from Triple H, his own partner! Stone Cold gives him the Stunner and Show puts the icing on the cake with a Chokeslam!

Your winners: Stone Cold & The Big Show

Show turns around only to meet a sledgehammer shot from Triple H! Austin holds his ground and gives him a Stunner and stands tall! However, Edge suddenly comes out of no where and gives Austin the spear! Edge stands tall as Teddy Long comes out and announces that at Halloween Havoc it will be Triple H vs. Randy Orton vs. Stone Cold vs. The Big Show vs. Edge....vs. the winner of Umaga and Christian next week! In a 6 pack challenge...for the WWE Championship! Holla Holla Holla!

The show ends with Edge looking kinda happy as he stands tall over all superstars!
