World Map

Bit random but i think a world map thread with a pic of the world with tags with where we are all from would be cool as it'd be a snapshot of how wide our community is and usefull plus interesting for those like me wit poor geography skills!

dunno if that makes sense ur take on it?

Doesn't seem to be a plugin like it at the moment, but I might look deeper into it tomorrow morning. World Map is something I think would be pretty cool

I like the concept. I was planning on working on an advanced statistics plugin in the future and a world map could just be added to that.

With geolocation and the Google Maps/Earth API's, it should be fairly easy to add some pretty neat features.

I know vBulletin and IPB has this mod using Google Maps. Haven't seen one for MyBB but it'd be pretty cool.

No luck at all I'm afraid. There's no such plugin for MyBB and I'm not sure if it's worth bugging Anonymous to make it as it's probably quite difficult lol.
