World Class Wrestling

Eric Bischoff has been a quiet millionaire for years, keeping it to himself. Waiting for something to do with it. With a lot of books coming out to the public and revealing the WWE's darkest secrets, it didn't look too good for Mr. McMahon and his company, as well as it's superstars. On December 10, 2007, it was announced to the public that Eric Bischoff bought out some TNA contracts. Many fans were scratching their hands to why. It was later announced on December 17, 2007 that WWE had folded due to complications and many superstars, including top stars, were looking for work.

December 19, 2007, it was finally announced that Eric Bischoff was opening a new wrestling promotion. World Class Wrestling, with the initials being the exact same of the company he once worked for, WCW.

On February 2, 2008 - April 1, 2008, pay-per-views were set up, arenas were rented for certain dates and the roster was completed. The first ever WCW show will be Redemption, on April 20, 2008.

Good start. I like the set up of the BTB, as it is obviously you took your time to do it. The backstory is also well thought. I will be reviewing, especially with the big PPV you have comings

News & Notes

-Some huge surprises have been rumored to happen at Redemption.

-Right now, whoever will win the World Heavyweight Championship is up in the air right now. The main man to win it right now is The Undertaker, with AJ Styles being a runner up.

-Despite what other reports have been saying, Brock Lesnar vs Kurt Angle has the possibility to continue after Redemption with a possible steel cage match at Chained Up, however, it's possible there will be an angle where one of them gets "taken out" on an injury and the feud continuing afterwards, with a possible last man standing match or in extreme cases, a hell in a cell.

-Eric Bischoff has been telling backstage workers that he wants Triple H to win the match against John Cena, however, nothing is for sure just yet.

-Shawn Michaels' was the number one guy that was supposed to sign with WCW, but decided to opt out of signing because he wanted to spend time with his family. Eric Bischoff has made it clear to Shawn Michaels that the door is open and at anytime he wants, he can come to WCW to wrestle.

-Samoa Joe recently stated in a shoot interview that he is interested in WCW and if he got an offer, he would sign with them, however, there is little to no interest at all in Samoa Joe at the moment.

-A main event being talked about for Chained Up at the moment is Chris Jericho vs Edge vs Randy Orton vs The Undertaker vs AJ Styles in a first ever five man steel cage match, however, as we know, in the wrestling world, anything can change at anytime.

-Tickets for Chained Up have already gone on sale. The event is being held in Toronto, Canada on May 18.
