World Championship Wrestling : The Saga Continues

Hey all, I see I'm not the only one that's come here from WC, really was debating on starting a new Diary but seeing how I've been invested in this one for a while, I'll just continue it here.... Originally It was entitled World Championship Wrestling 2001 and Beyond.... But I see there's a lot of 2001 and Beyond diaries on here, so I'm renaming it. This right now is just my little introduction, the next thread will give you all a little of what has happened over the course of my diary over on the other site, storylines etc etc etc. Currently I'm in the middle of doing my 'Halloween Havoc' PPV so when I finish giving you all the up to date details, that will be the first show I post. What You Need To Know

At the very end of that final Monday Nitro, it was announced that Shane McMahon was in fact the NEW owner of World Championship Wrestling and not his father. Earlier on that fateful night, Vince McMahon mentioned that there would be a few old and new faces on WWF programming, however learning that his son was in fact the new owner of WCW, this was not meant to be.

Shane McMahon under his new role instead took the opportunity to continue the 'Monday Night War' and lead World Championship Wrestling back to the top of the weekly ratings and vowed to be the number one watched wrestling company once again, something WCW did for a record setting 83 weeks. Not only did Shane McMahon initiate a few changes, such as 'No More Objects On A Pole' matches, or any other silly off the wall matches, he brought back the infamous 'War Games' match, brought back WCW Saturday Night, and with the help of a few lawyers and a lot of cash in his pocket, he was able to pluck away a few top superstars from the WWF. Such superstars being that of Hardcore Holly, Crash Holly, Al Snow, and the most recent acquisition, Kane.

Within just a few short months of competition, the new revamped World Championship Wrestling has without question taken the wrestling world by force again and just a month ago it was announced that it is in fact the number one company in the world, finally surpassing WWF once again and with only 2 more months remaining in 2001, it will continue to shock and surprise every wrestling fan going forward.

WCW Saturday Night

Saturday nights are not just for partying, but they're for wrestling once again!! The revamped WCW Saturday Night live from MGM Studios has been revamped in a big way with that of being more of WCW programming to showcase the talents of all the stars of WCW to the point that the show itself is becoming proving grounds for new up and coming young WCW talents. Not only will you be seeing the current stars of WCW, but new blood has come through the doors. Such stars like Christopher Daniels, Amazing Red, The SAT, Americas Most Wanted, Chad Collyer, Shark Boy, Chance Beckett, have made quite an impact already and things are only looking up for all of these younger talents. Guaranteed it wont be long before you see these stars on Monday and Thursday nights!!!

Who's Fighting Who

3 Count/Filthy Animals

For a few months now these two teams have been at each others throats. 3 Count managed to secure a big victory over the Animals capturing the Cruiserweight Tag Team Titles and holding them for a few months, proving dominance over any other cruiserweight tag teams that tried to take the belts off of them. Fame and notoriety boosted 3 Counts egos to the point where they felt that they were the most dominant champions to hold the titles and feeling that there would be no team that could take the belts from them, they purposely dumped the belts in a barrel and set them ablaze.
A week later, after a loss, 3 Count found the Animals in the parking lot hanging out by their car poking fun at the team, causing 3 Count to walk off, only to return later and proceed to viciously and brutally attack the Animals leaving them down and bloodied, in desperate need for medical attention.

A week later, after 3 Count were victorious, the Turnertron turned on and showed the Filthy Animals breaking and entering 3 Counts apartment. After going through their personal rooms and inevitably trashing the place in the process, they challenged 3 Count to a 'Street Fight' at 'Halloween Havoc' and said if they wanted to bring a friend to join in, they could. It was then just a few days later, 3 Count recruited the help of Crash Holly to aid them in their upcoming match.

Jeff Jarrett vs. Everybody

Since being mocked and embarrassed on Monday Night Raw, Jeff Jarrett returned to WCW Nitro a week after the purchase and made a vow to become the 'King Of The Mountain' once more, referring to once again claiming the WCW World Heavyweight Title.... To do this, he has come out and hand picked his opponents to once again face off against and do whatever needs to be done to beat them to gain one step closer to a World Title Shot.
Jarrett, with the help of his personal bodyguards The Harris Brothers have been involved in a heated rivalry with Booker T but after defeating him in a big win, he has now been in a battle with that of Goldberg to which these two will be meeting inside a Cage at 'Halloween Havoc.'

Scott Steiner/Sting

Sting and Scott Steiner have been in an ongoing war for a while now, but it was during the 'War Games' match that found Sting at the mercy of 'Big Poppa Pump.' During the final moments of the match, the team of Ric Flair, Dustin Rhodes, Dusty Rhodes, Sting, Diamond Dallas Page were at the mercy of the team of Shane Douglas, Bam Bam Bigelow, Chris Candido, Rick Steiner, Scott Steiner with all members of Flairs team handcuffed to the ropes, all besides Sting. Sting was left to be beaten down by Douglas' team and Shane Douglas gave Flair the ultimatum to either quit the match or be forced to watch Sting be finished off by a baseball bat in the hands of Scott Steiner.
Flair not wanting to see anymore harm done to Sting inevitably quit the match allowing Shane Douglas' team to win, however when it was all said and done, Douglas told Steiner to do whatever he wanted, and thus Steiner drilled the baseball bat into the head of Sting, bloodying him and leaving him laying in a pool of blood.

It has to be noted that since the September 'Fall Brawl,' Sting has not been seen since, citing that he has a serious concussion. Since that time, Scott Steiner has been involved in a small feud with Bill DeMott and will face him at 'Halloween Havoc.'

Ric Flair/Shane Douglas

The real life hatred between Ric Flair and Shane Douglas outside of the ring, has finally been brought into the ring. Shane Douglas with the help of his Triple Threat has vowed to finally chase destiny and go after the World Heavyweight Championship. Ric Flair managed to become the World Heavyweight Champion in a Triple Threat match against Douglas and then champion, Booker T and since then, Douglas has made it his mission to dethrone him. Months have gone by and it was at 'Fall Brawl' in the War Games match that the stipulation was made that if Shane Douglas' team won, he would get another title shot at 'Halloween Havoc' and that he would be given the opportunity to choose the stipulation for the match.

Since 'Fall Brawl' Douglas has remained silence for weeks. But finally, on the week of 'Halloween Havoc,' Douglas finally opened up and delivered the news that the match stipulation for the Main Event would be that of an Iron Man Match. The reason for this is because he wants to prove that Flair is too old to be the '60 Minute Man' he once was. So it will in fact be Ric Flair defending the World Title against Douglas at 'Halloween Havoc.'

Cruiserweight Title Match

Chavo Guerrero vs. Ultimo Dragon (C)

The match starts off hot with Dragon and Chavo both trading hold for hold and neither really gaining an advantage until Chavo uses some dirty tactics to take over control of the match. Chavo manages to keep Dragon down on the mat than let him to his feet, putting him in various arm and leg locks trying to take away any advantage Dragon has.

Eventually Chavo makes a mistake and this allows Dragon to start using his lightning quick and multiple kick variations to take Chavo down a few times but it's not enough to put him away for a 3 count just yet. At one point, Dragon hits a signature 'Running Sit Out Powerbomb' but doesn't get the 3 count. He then places Chavo on the top turnbuckle and looks to go to hit something big but Sonny Onoo jumps on the apron causing Dragon to go after him that eventually backfires with Chavo hitting a dropkick to the back of his head off the turnbuckle. Chavo continues to keep Dragon grounded some more, locking in a surfboard stretch to get him to tap out but Dragon continues to fight on.

Eventually Chavo misses an opportunity and Dragon capitalizes by sending him to the outside and hitting his signature 'Asai Moonsault' much to the crowds pleasure. Once back in the ring, Chavo and Dragon slug it out and eventually Chavo goes to hit a move on Dragon but Dragon counters it and kicks Chavo's leg out from under him, enabling Dragon to lock in the 'Dragon Sleeper' and Chavo taps out.

Winner and STILL Cruiserweight Champion: Ultimo Dragon via submission after ‘Dragon Sleeper 

Backstage Segment 

Before the next match, Shawn Stasiak cuts a promo on his title defense against Mark Jindrak saying that Jindrak was never a friend and that he just hung onto his coattails for as long as he let him. Says that after tonight when he beats him and retains the US Title, Jindrak will know that he is still not only the US Champion but that he is also, 'The Man.'

United States Title Match

Mark Jindrak vs. Shawn Stasiak (C)

The match starts off hot with Jindrak quickly getting the advantage over Stasiak, pummeling him left and right and sending him to the outside of the ring to do more damage. On the outside Jindrak tosses him into the guardrail a few times and even bounces his head off the steel steps. Eventually they both get back in the ring and Jindrak hits a couple moves on Stasiak but cant get the win. Stacy eventually causes a distraction that allows Stasiak to take control and starts putting a beating on Jindrak, mainly targeting the injured ribs he suffered at the hands of Kane just a few days ago when Kane put Jindrak through a table.

Stasiak continues to go for the injured ribs but eventually Jindrak regains control and takes Stasiak down with a few big moves including an impressive springboard clothesline but Stasiak still can't be beat. The two start trading blows with one another and Stasiak manages to take the advantage and tries to go for a big move but Jindrak manages to counter and hit the 'Mark Of Excellence' on Stasiak but is too hurt to make the pinfall. While trying to actually go for a pinfall, the music of Kane hits and Jindrak starts looking around the ringside area looking for Kane and ready to take him on as well. This however was all a ruse set up by Stasiak, as Kane is nowhere to be found but because Jindrak is distracted on the notion that Kane may appear, Stasiak drives a knee into the ribs of Jindrak and then hits his 'Man Plex' on Jindrak for the pinfall victory.

Winner and STILL United States Champion: Shawn Stasiak via pinfall after 'The Man Plex' 

Backstage Segment 

Backstage this time around, 'Mean' Gene Okerlund interviewed 'The Franchise' Shane Douglas on the Main Event later tonight against Ric Flair in the Iron Man Match. Shane Douglas talked about how he has been planning this match since the moment he won the War Games match back in September and the reason why he kept it quiet was because he knew that this would in fact be the one match that Flair would never beat him in because of the age difference and the lack of training that Flair has done to prepare because he had no idea what he was to be in for. Douglas would go onto say that he will put Flair out of his misery tonight and finally claim what is his, the World Heavyweight Championship

Street Fight

Filthy Animals vs. 3 Count/Crash Holly

The camera cuts out to the parking lot where we see the Animals and 3 Count with Crash all fighting one another. Everybody is being tossed into cars, slammed on the concrete. Rey Mysterio managed to climb on top of a car and hit a diving hurricanrana onto Evan Karagias that got a huge ovation from the fans. After a few more minutes of fighting, 3 Count manage to grab Billy Kidman and toss him on top of the car and Kidman's feet end up breaking the windshield of the car, keeping him out of action for a few mintues.

The match continued on and eventually they all made their way into the arena in the backstage area. Crash ended up getting on an equipment box and splashes Rey Mysterio through a table but couldn't get the 3 count. Konnan eventually was left all alone defending against 3 Count but he held his own, hitting Karagias and Moore over the back with whatever he could get his hands on, including a trash can, a chair, and a broom but could not manage to score a victory. While brawling with the two of them, the odds played in favor to 3 Count as they managed to pummel Konnan to the point where he was fighting on pure survival mode. At one point Konnan managed to break away from them and made his way out into the actual arena below the entrance stage but was met by Crash Holly who nailed him with a chair to the skull. Crash made the cover but Konnan barely managed to kick out of it.

3 on 1 now as Crash and 3 Count are putting the boots to Konnan but suddenly out from the entrance comes Billy Kidman driving a FORKLIFT with Mysterio on the rungs of it. The crowd cheers wildly as Kidman raises the forklift up with Mysterio holding onto it. With the forklift raised all the way that it can go, Kidman gets out of the drivers seat and takes a running dive off the stage on top of 3 Count and Crash Holly and it looks like a car wreck!! The fans continue to cheer as Mysterio looks down below and waits a few seconds for everybody to get to their feet AND THEN DIVES OFF THE FORKLIFT ONTO EVERYBODY!!!!! A holy shit chant breaks out and everybody is down but the referee sees Konnan with his arm across the chest of Shannon Moore and Konnan gets the pinfall victory for his team.

Winners: Filthy Animals via pinfall 

Backstage Segment 

Backstage this time, Jeremy Borash is interviewing Jeff Jarrett and mentions that the Harris Brothers are nowhere to be found and Jeff Jarrett starts to go on a tirade about how they're incompetent and he doesn't even know why he pays them to get things done but can never get the job done. He then goes on to say that if it weren't for the Harris Brothers, he wouldn't even have to be facing Goldberg tonight inside a cage because he would have already been taken out. Jarrett mentions that regardless of all the trouble the Harris Brothers have caused in the last few weeks with Goldberg, Jarrett is still going to beat Goldberg tonight inside the cage and push one step closer to becoming the King Of The Mountain again and then walks off.

Before the camera cuts back to the announcers table however, the camera pans around the corner to see that the Harris Brothers have been there this entire time, waiting and listening to everything Jarrett had to say negative about them. This gives the announce team a chuckle because they know that Jarrett is oblivious to the situation and it might come back and bite him when the time comes.

Tag Team Title Match

Kronik vs. Totally Buff (C)

Kronik takes the match over early disabling Buff and Lex from any offensive maneuvers and outclass them in every aspect of tag team wrestling. Brian Adams manages to hit Bagwell with a full nelson slam but only gets a 2 count. Quick tag ins and double team moves on the part of Kronik play to their favor but eventually Luger interjects himself by kicking Clark in the back as he bounces off the ropes enabling Buff to dump him to the outside where they start taking things over. Buff and Lex double team Clark on the outside for a few moments until Adams runs over and starts fending them both off to give his partner a breather but that proves to be pointless as Bagwell and Lex run him into the steel steps.

Lex and Buff continue to double team Clark in the ring and Luger hits him with a big powerslam but only gets a 2 count and quickly slaps on a rear chinlock to wear him down. Adams is rallying the fans now to get behind Clark and Clark manages to hit a jawbreaker on Luger and then makes the hot tag to Adams who comes in hot and starts cleaning house, decking Luger and Bagwell multiple times with right hands and clotheslines. Eventually Adams manages to grab Luger and toss him to the outside leaving Bagwell all alone and Adams hits Bagwell with a running big boot but can only manage to get a 2 count. Kronik both set Bagwell up for 'High Times' but Luger quickly comes in and chop blocks the leg of Clark. Adams drops Bagwell and starts hitting Luger a few times and manages to get him out of the ring but on the other side, Liz has slid Bagwell one of the Tag Team Titles and as Adams turns around, Bagwell decks him in the head with it and slides it back to Liz as the referee was distracted by the melee going on. He finally notices Bagwell covering and makes the 3 count.

Winners and STILL WCW Tag Team Champions: Totally Buff via pinfall 

Backstage Segment 

We then go backstage where 'Mean' Gene Okerlund is standing by with Ric Flair. Flair keeps calm saying that this could very well be his last night as World Champion. Flair states that he's aware of the fact that this isn't 20 years ago where he was doing 60 minutes every day and night and that the age difference could definitely play a factor but that Shane Douglas is forgetting one thing. He then goes on a tirade about how he is the 'Nature Boy' and the World Heavyweight Champion and that he will prove that he's still got 60 minutes left in him and if he doesn't, he's going to die tonight trying.

Cage Match

Jeff Jarrett vs. Goldberg

Jarrett and the Harris Brothers are standing inside the ring and Jarrett is instructing the Harris Brothers to stand in front of him and wants them to take care of Goldberg who stands in the door of the cage. Jarrett talks a bunch of trash to Goldberg, challenging him to get in the ring. The Harris Brothers look at each other and then turn to Jarrett who looks shocked. The Harris Brothers then attack Jarrett!!! The crowd cheers as the Harris Brothers whip Jarrett to the ropes and then give him a big 'H-Bomb!' The Harris Brothers then stare at Goldberg and then both point to Jarrett and tell him that he's all his. Goldberg smiles and lets the Harris Brothers leave and then Goldberg climbs in the ring and closes the door behind him and then begins to stalk Jarrett.

Jarrett starts getting back to his feet and Goldberg grabs him by the head and starts ramming him head first into the cage a few times much to the crowds delight. Goldberg at one point picks Jarrett up in a military press and tosses him hard into the cage. Goldberg continues to beat Jarrett down but now finally signals it's time for the end. Goldberg drops in the corner and waits for Jarrett to get up. Once Jarrett is up, Goldberg hits a big 'Spear' and then follows up with a 'Jackhammer' and pins him for the 3 count.

Winner: Goldberg via pinfall after 'Jackhammer'

Backstage Segment 

We head backstage once again, this time with Jeremy Borash interviewing Bill DeMott. DeMott says that the odds are stacking against him tonight in facing Scott Steiner. But the odds have always been against him since the moment he stepped foot in WCW. He says he was able to beat Steiner once, he knows he has the determination to do it again because he's got nothing to lose.

Grudge Match

Scott Steiner vs. Bill DeMott

Bill DeMott quickly jumps on top of Steiner and begins to throw a barrage of punches, forearms and elbows to try and wear Steiner down but Steiner manages to get out of the ring eventually to get a breather. DeMott follows him out and tosses Steiner into the guardrail a few times until Steiner slides back in the ring. DeMott tries getting inside but Steiner runs up and kicks him in the head. Steiner in control now begins doing what he knows best, overpowering DeMott with a barrage of suplexes and clotheslines.

Steiner continues beating DeMott but DeMott starts to mount a comeback after Steiner misses a big move in the corner. DeMott hits Steiner with a few big moves and eventually manages to hit him with a big sitout powerbomb but only gets a 2 count. DeMott puts Steiner down and then goes up for the 'No Laughing Matter' but Steiner manages to roll out of the way. DeMott feeling the aftermath of missing the move unfortunately gets hit by a big belly to belly suplex from Steiner and then Steiner locks in the 'Steiner Recliner' and forces DeMott to tap out.

Winner: Scott Steiner via submission after 'Steiner Recliner' 

Video Package 

The announce team took the time to remind everyone that the next Pay Per View coming up would be World War 3 and the return of the infamous 3 Ring Battle Royal.

20 wrestlers will each take a ring, and once 59 men have been eliminated, one will be crowned the winner of World War 3, and that winner will go on to 'Starrcade' to face the the World Heavyweight Champion in the Main Event.

Grudge Match

Malice/Mike Awesome vs. Kevin Nash/Diamond Dallas Page

All four men start brawling inside the ring and eventually the action spills out onto the floor. All four men continue to brawl around ringside and it's DDP who gets Mike Awesome in the ring finally and starts going to work in the corner giving him a bunch of right hands and stomps. DDP sends him to the turnbuckle and lands a hard clothesline and quickly tries to catch him with the 'Diamond Cutter' but Awesome pushes him off and ends up taking him out with a clothesline. On the outside Malice is choking Kevin Nash with a camera cable as Jimmy Hart cheers him on through the megaphone. Back in the ring DDP is fighting off Awesome and has him reeling against the ropes. DDP runs up and clothesline himself and Awesome back out on the floor!!!

Malice has Nash down and now goes over to help Awesome out and picks DDP up and sends him crashing ribs first on the guardrail. Malice throws him back in the ring and now he and Awesome climb in and start double teaming him. Malice picks up DDP in a military press and ends up dropping him onto Mike Awesome's knee, further doing damage to the rib area. Quick tag outs between Awesome and Malice and now its Awesome in there with DDP who has him down on the mat stretching him out and putting an elbow into the rib area. DDP starts to fight back and ends up breaking free of Awesome and hits the ropes, ducks a clothesline from Awesome and dives into his corner making the tag to a fresh Kevin Nash!!!

Nash climbs in and starts punching away at Awesome and sends him to the ropes and gives him a big sidewalk slam but only gets a 2 count. Nash puts Awesome in the corner and gives him a few knees and elbows and now brings him out and sets him up for the 'Jackknife' but Malice comes in and decks Nash from behind to save his partner. Awesome brings Nash to the corner and tags out to Malice who now comes in and starts working over Nash. Nash fights back but Malice is too agile and ends up chop blocking Nash as he misses a clothesline. Malice starts working over the knee of Nash and now tags out to Awesome who comes in and splashes the hurt leg of Nash and then covers but only gets a 2 count. Malice and Awesome continue to work over the leg of Nash as DDP is trying to rally the fans.

Malice continues to work over Nash but Nash starts fighting back and manages to duck a clothesline from Malice and ends up giving him a big boot that sends him staggering into the ropes but then Malice bounces off the ropes and gives Nash a big boot that staggers him back but it staggers him into his own corner and DDP makes the tag!!! DDP comes in with a house of fire and punches and chops Malice a few times and ducks and dodges every attempted shot that Malice throws at him. Malice finally manages to grab DDP and shoves him to the corner and then goes for a big boot but DDP moves and Malice gets himself caught on the top rope, DDP rolls him in a school boy but only gets a 2 count!!!! Malice quickly tries to get to his feet but DDP catches him in a DDT!!!!! The crowd roars with anticipation as he makes the cover but Awesome makes the save!!!! Awesome grabs DDP and now picks him up but DDP breaks free and goes for the 'Diamond Cutter' again but Awesome pushes him into the ropes. DDP bounces off and gets kicked in the gut by Awesome and Awesome lifts him up, AND PLANTS HIM WITH AN 'AWESOME BOMB!!!!!!' Awesome stands over DDP looking down at him but Kevin Nash is behind him!!!! Awesome turns around and Nash kicks Awesome in the gut and sets him up, 'JACKKNIFE POWERBOMB!!!!!' Nash throws up the 'Wolfpac' sign but Malice turns Nash around and grabs him by the throat, 'CHOKESLAM!!!!!' It's a total car wreck!!!!

With Malice left standing, Jimmy Hart jumps up on the apron to distract the referee. The referee comes over to Jimmy Hart and Jimmy Hart tosses his megaphone to Malice, BUT DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE INTERCEPTS THE MEGAPHONE!!!!! Malice goes for a clothesline to DDP but DDP ducks under it, Malice turns around AND DDP KICKS HIM IN THE NETHER REGION!!!!!! Malice groans in pain and now DDP winds up, AND DECKS HIM WITH THE MEGAPHONE!!!!! Malice is staggering around and DDP grabs him, 'DIAMOND CUTTER!!!!!!' Page makes the cover and the ref sees it, 1...2...3!!!!!!

The first 10 minutes has Douglas and Flair exchanging holds to wear one another down with Douglas seemingly taking the advantage. Douglas works over the arm of Flair and then switches to working over his back, hitting him with a few snap suplexes and keeping him grounded with a chin lock but also digging his knee into his back. Douglas puts Flair in the corner and gives him a big chop but Flair shakes his head and Douglas chops him again, this time angering Flair to the point of Flair putting Douglas in the corner and giving him a few hard chops of his own, each time the fans giving a 'Wooooo!!!' Flair sends Douglas to the corner but Douglas reverses and Flair flips over the turnbuckle and onto the mat, running up the further turnbuckle and diving off catching Douglas in a cross body but only getting a 2 count.

45 Minutes Remain. Flair continues to work over Douglas with chops and stiff punches but Douglas reverts to his cheating ways and rakes Flair in the eyes and then tosses him to the outside. On the outside Douglas grabs Flair and tries sending him to the guardrail but Flair reverses and sends Douglas!!!! Douglas lays on the guardrail in pain and now Flair runs up trying to hit him but Douglas back body drops him over the guardrail and Flair lands hard on the concrete in the crowd!!!!! The ref continues to count both men out but Douglas rolls in and out of the ring to break it. Flair manages to get back into the ringside area only to have Douglas grab him by the head AND RAM HIM HEAD FIRST INTO THE STEEL POST!!!! Douglas rolls in and out of the ring again to break the count and now goes to pick up Flair, and Flair is bleeding from the ring post shot!!!! Douglas rolls Flair back in the ring and now starts working him over, opening up the wound a little more and hits him with a big knee drop and coves but only gets a 2 count. Douglas now climbs on top of him and starts to rain down punches to his forehead continuing to open up the wound.

30 Minutes Remain. Douglas continues stomping Flair and now adds insult to injury by putting Flair in his own 'Figure 4!!!!' Screaming in pain, Flair refuses to give up. The blood continues to pour down his face but Flair refuses to give in. After a good few minutes, the fans start rallying behind Flair and Flair manages to reverse the hold on Douglas and Douglas starts screaming in pain but finally manages to reach out and grab the rope to break the hold. Flair and Douglas both slow to make it back to their feet but finally do so and now Flair blocks a punch and chops Douglas. Another block, another chop!!!! Another block, ANOTHER CHOP!!!! Douglas knees Flair in the gut and shoots him to the ropes, Flair bounces off and kicks Douglas in the face and now hits an inside cradle, 1...2...3 NO!!!! Douglas kicks out!!! Douglas and Flair back to their feet and Flair misses a clothesline and Douglas wraps him up, 'BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX' 1...2...3 NO!!!!! Flair gets the shoulder up!!!! Douglas can't believe it and now he gets up and walks over to the turnbuckle apparently for a breather but he reaches in his trunks AND HE PULLS OUT A CHAIN!!!! Douglas wraps the chain around his hand and now Flair is back to his feet. Flair grabs Douglas by the head and pulls him out to the center of the ring but Shane grabs the referee and put him between them right before Flair is about to hit Douglas!!!! The referee cowers down blocking his face, AND DOUGLAS DECKS FLAIR IN THE FACE WITH THE CHAIN!!!!! Douglas puts the chain quickly back in his tights and covers, 1...2...3!!!!!!! DOUGLAS IS UP 1-0!!!!!!

20 Minutes Remain in the match and Douglas has to automatically take a 10 second breather. He gathers his thoughts and the ref finally lets him go and Douglas quickly runs up and covers Flair again, 1...2...3 NO!!!! FLAIR GETS THE SHOULDER UP!!!!! Douglas can't believe it as he starts arguing with the referee. Douglas threatens to punch the ref but the ref warns him he'll be disqualified. Douglas goes back to work on Flair and stomps him into the corner and starts choking him. The ref pulls Douglas off and once again Douglas gets into it with the ref but finally goes back over to Flair and Flair quickly grabs him by the tights and pulls him into the turnbuckle head first!!! Douglas staggers out of the corner and now Flair grabs Douglas from behind and hits him with a knee breaker!!!! Douglas hobbles around and now Flair punches Douglas a few times and hits the ropes. Douglas misses a clothesline as he bounces off, and misses another one as he bounces off again, we're at the 15 Minute Mark and Flair manages to give Douglas a chop block to the knee!!!!! Flair gets to his feet and holds the leg of Douglas and he screams NOW!!!!! AND HE PUTS ON THE 'FIGURE 4!!!!!!' Douglas is screaming in pain and clenching his fist, even going far as to biting his own hand as Flair continues to apply pressure to the hold but Flair is losing more blood as he angrily applies the pressure to the hold!!!! Douglas continues to scream in pain, BUT FINALLY TAPS OUT!!!!! THE SCORE IS TIED 1-1!!!!!

We're down to 10 minutes left and the fans are rallying behind Flair as he and Douglas are both down but Flair is more so down from the amount of blood that he's lost so far. Douglas and Flair start getting back to their feet and now both men are back up and Douglas swings and connects with a punch, AND FLAIR FIRES BACK WITH A CHOP!!!! A punch by Douglas, a chop from Flair, punch from Douglas, CHOP FROM FLAIR!!!!! Douglas rakes Flair in the eyes and tosses him to the ropes, Flair bounces off and ducks a clothesline and Flair and Douglas both hit the ropes AND BOTH RUN INTO EACH OTHER AND KNOCK EACH OTHER DOWN!!!! Douglas and Flair are both down but now Douglas is seen once again going into his tights and grabbing the chain!!!! Douglas starts wrapping it around his hand and now starts getting to his feet. He's got the chain wrapped up tight and waits for Flair to get up and he does, BUT THE REFEREE CATCHES DOUGLAS IN THE ACT!!!!! The referee grabs the chain from Douglas and Douglas starts pleading with him!!!! The ref turns around to dispose of the chain, AND RIC FLAIR LOW BLOWS DOUGLAS!!!!!! The fans cheer and Douglas gets rolled up in a small package, THE COUNT, 1....2....3 NO!!!!!!! DOUGLAS KICKS OUT LAST SECOND!!!!!!! Douglas and Flair slow to get up but both are up and Flair goes to attack but Douglas sweeps his legs out and pins him, FEET ON THE ROPES, 1....2....3 NO!!!!!! FLAIR KICKS OUT!!!!!!!

Five Minutes Remain and both Douglas and Flair are tired and drained but are still continuing!!!! Douglas is back to his feet and Flair tries to attack but Douglas grabs him, AND HITS THE 'FRANCHISER' ON FLAIR BUT FLAIR WITH EVERY OUNCE OF ENERGY HE HAS MANAGES TO ROLL OUT OF THE RING!!!! Douglas is visibly upset but now goes after Flair. Douglas picks Flair up but Flair quickly nails him with a couple of hard chops!!!! Douglas goes slides back inside the ring and Flair starts climbing up on the apron but Douglas runs up and grabs him, AND HITS A BIG SUPLEX INSIDE THE RING AND ROLLS ON TOP, 1...2...3 NO!!!!! FLAIR KICKS OUT!!!!! Douglas stomps Flair a few times and now grabs him by the leg, GOES FOR THE 'FIGURE 4' AGAIN BUT FLAIR ROLLS HIM UP, 1....2....3 NO!!!!!! Douglas kicks out again!!!!

ONE MINUTE REMAINS!!!!!!! Both men are dazed and tired and seem to be on their last leg. Flair is up and Douglas nails him with a few punches and shoots him to the ropes but Flair reverses. Douglas bounces off and misses a clothesline, Douglas with the rebound, CROSS BODY ON FLAIR AND THE COVER, 1...2.... FLAIR KICKS OUT!!!!! Douglas quickly gets back up, ROLLS FLAIR UP IN A SCHOOL BOY AND HOOKS THE TIGHTS, 1...2...3 NO!!!!! FLAIR KICKS OUT!!!!! Douglas starts pounding the mat in frustration and now finally picks Flair up, ' BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX!!!!!' Flair and Douglas are both down as the clock starts to wind down!!!! Douglas drapes the arm over Flair, 1....2.... THE BELL RINGS!!!!!! THE BELL RINGS!!!!!! TIME HAS EXPIRED!!!!!!!

Douglas thinks he's won the match and raises his hands in victory but the referee starts explaining to him that the time limits expired and Douglas is now visibly upset and wants 5 more minutes! The announce team continue to praise Flair about once again going the distance. The fans now are chanting five more minutes as EMT's come and check up on Flair. The Triple Threat have arrived at ringside now to check up on Douglas and now Shane McMahon himself has come out to check on the situation at hand. The fans continue to yell 5 More Minutes as Shane checks up on Ric Flair and starts questioning the referee.

The announce team continue to put both men over for a hard fought contest but are still questioning whether or not there is going to be a tiebreaker that will result in another 5 minutes. The referee and Shane McMahon continue to talk things out and now an EMT comes over and starts discussing the condition of Flair. After a few moments, the referee walks over to the ring announcer and tells him something in his ear. The ring announcer then proclaims that due to the fact that Ric Flair has lost a tremendous amount of blood loss, he has been not medically cleared to continue on with this match, therefore due to the time limit expiring and the match being tied at 1 fall each, THE MATCH HAS BEEN DECLARED A DRAW and Flair will retain the World Heavyweight Title.

TIME LIMIT DRAW 

Shane Douglas is visibly upset about this and starts kicking the ropes and now tries to go after Shane McMahon who stands his ground. The Triple Threat hold Douglas back from making a costly mistake, but Douglas continues to shout obscenities towards Shane McMahon who can be seen shouting things back.

After a few minutes, the announce team thank us for joining them this evening and remind everyone to tune into Nitro tomorrow night and that hopefully something will be done with this result.

Nitro Preview

With Halloween Havoc in the rear view mirror, we move forward to WCW Monday Nitro and with the events from last night, it’s already shaping up to be one hell of a night!

After last night’s Pay Per View, the focus is on that of what is to become of the situation between Ric Flair and Shane Douglas. Shane Douglas weeks prior had his lips sealed until just a few days ago as to what the match was going to be between he and Flair at Halloween Havoc, and when he finally revealed that it would in fact be a 60 Minute ‘Iron Man’ match, fans were in disbelief that Flair at his age now would even be able to compete. But against all the odds and adversity in that match, Ric Flair was able to do the unthinkable, and managed to survive the full hour. However, thanks to Shane Douglas, Flair suffered a tremendous amount of blood loss during the match after Shane Douglas busted him open earlier on.

With both men scoring one fall a piece, the time limit ran out, and though the fans as well as Douglas wanted 5 more minutes of sudden death overtime, the medical staff on hand conversed with the referee as well as Shane McMahon and determined that Flair was not able to continue, therefore the match itself was a DRAW with Ric Flair retaining the World Heavyweight Title.

We do have it on good authority however that Shane McMahon has made it clear that he will address this situation at the very start of Nitro. Will Shane Douglas have something to say about it? Will Ric Flair even be on hand? All this and more tonight on MONDAY NITRO!!!!

***After the video introduction the camera fades inside the Joe Louis Arena where thousands of fans are cheering and waving their signs around as fireworks and pyro go off on the entrance ramp and above the ring. The camera pans around the arena for a few seconds before the announce team begin speaking***

Tony Schiavone:

WE ARE LIVE IN THE JOE LOUIS ARENA, WE ARE 24 HOURS REMOVED FROM HALLOWEEN HAVOC, AND WE’RE ABOUT TO BRING YOU 2 HOURS OF NON STOP WRESTLING ACTION, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THIS IS WCW MONDAY NITRO!!!!! Good evening everybody I’m Tony Schiavone, alongside me, the ‘Professor’ Mike Tenay and Mike, on the top of this hour we are about to hear from the boss, Shane McMahon.

Mike Tenay:

Well Tony, with what happened during the aftermath last night at Halloween Havoc in the Main Event, obviously ‘The Franchise’ Shane Douglas is upset with not receiving another 5 minutes for sudden death overtime. The ‘Nature Boy’ Ric Flair is STILL the World Heavyweight Champion. But I think what we certainly NEED to take out of that Main Event, is that Ric Flair can STILL go the distance.

Tony Schiavone:

He most certainly can, and hats off to the ‘Nature Boy’ for once again proving to everyone including us, that he is in fact the ’60 Minute Man.’ But I am being told right now that Shane McMahon is standing backstage now ready to address this crowd, LET’S GO TO THE RING!!!!

~HERE COMES THE MONEY~

The fans cheer as Shane McMahon shuffles out on the entrance ramp, bobbing and weaving before heading down to the ring. McMahon slaps a few hands down the aisle and then slides inside the ring and starts shuffling around the squared circle. After looking and showing love to the crowd for a few moments, Shane walks to the center of the ring and stands there ready to speak

Shane McMahon:

First and foremost.... HOW THE HELL ARE YA DETROIT!?!?!?!?!

***The fans in the arena cheer as Shane looks on smiling***

Shane McMahon:

That’s what I like to hear. Alright, now let’s get down to some business.... Last night, we all saw Ric Flair and Shane Douglas go to war. They went to war, and they beat the living HELL out of each other. And I honestly and truly believe that after last night, that match has to go down as match of the year.

***The fans cheer as Shane McMahon looks around looking to see if the fans approve, which of course they do***

Shane McMahon:

Now the big issue surrounding that match is the end decision. Trust and believe I sympathize with all of you that YES, there SHOULD have been a sudden death overtime in order to determine just who would walk out as the World Heavyweight Champion. However, as the President of this company, I have to personally make some tough decisions. And one of those decisions that I have to make as tough as it is, is I have to consider the safety and well being of every individual that steps inside this ring. And with that said, we all saw last night that Ric Flair lost a lot of blood after what Douglas did. Not only that, Shane Douglas continued to pummel Flair with a chain wrapped around his fist, and though I personally believe that Douglas should’ve been disqualified a NUMBER of times, the referee didn’t see it happen, so I’ll let that slide. But what I will not let slide, is the opinion of not just the referee, but the opinion of the chief medical examiner that was on hand last night. The chief medical examiner declared that with the amount of blood that Flair had lost, anything further could have indeed resulted in more severe injuries. So as far as it goes, I hate to disappoint you fans, but I agree with the referees decision to not let the match continue.

***The fans slightly boo a bit while Shane holds his hands out and tries to get them to settle down a bit***

Shane McMahon:

Now the score last night may have been tied up, and I’m sure, matter of fact I have no DOUBT that ‘The Franchise’ Shane Douglas is going to have a lot to say about it later on. However, after last night, I feel as though ‘The Franchise’ has had quite a few chances in order to gain the World Heavyweight Title, and I think it’s time somebody else gets a chance!

***The fans cheer***

Tony Schiavone:

Somebody else!?!?!

Mike Tenay:

That’s what he said!

Shane McMahon:

So let’s talk about the Main Event tonight! What we’re gonna do is we’re gonna have a number one contenders match between three men that I have PERSONALLY hand picked because I feel that they deserve a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship and they’re going to meet in this ring tonight to see just who’s going to face Ric Flair for the World Heavyweight Title NEXT WEEK!!!!! And those men are as follows.... ‘BIG POPPA PUMP’ Scott Steiner....

***The fans boo as Shane looks on and nods his head***

Shane McMahon:

BOOKER T!!!!

***The fans cheer at the sound of Booker T’s name***

Shane McMahon:

And the man who LAST NIGHT DESTROYED JEFF JARRETT IN A CAGE, GOLDBERG!!!!! THANK YOU ALL, AND ENJOY MONDAY NITRO!!!!

***The fans cheer tremendously for Goldberg’s name as Shane’s music hits and Shane starts to exit the ring and head back up the entrance ramp***

Tony Schiavone:

WHAT AN ANNOUNCEMENT!!!! You heard it right here fans, Book T, Scott Steiner, and GOLDBERG in a ‘Triple Threat’ match tonight as the Main Event!

Mike Tenay:

And not only that, but the winner of this match becomes the number one contender, AND gets a shot at Ric Flair next week on Nitro!

Tony Schiavone:

But we still do not know the status of Ric Flair, and not for nothing, we don’t even know if he or Shane Douglas are even here tonight. But what a Main Event that’s going to be and what a night tonight is going to be, we’ve got to take a commercial break, STICK AROUND FANS, WE’LL BE BACK!!!!

COMMERCIAL

***Coming back from commercial, the camera is in the parking lot of the arena where a car pulls up and stops. After a few seconds, the doors open up, and the Triple Threat step out of the car and start walking into the building as the camera fades back inside the arena***

Tony Schiavone:

SHANE DOUGLAS IS HERE!!!!

Mike Tenay:

And you heard Shane McMahon state earlier that Douglas is probably going to have some issues with what he said earlier, I don’t even think Douglas has any clue what was said yet!

Tony Schiavone:

Well we’ll keep you fans posted on exactly what happens backstage but for now, LET’S GO TO THE RING FOR OUR FIRST MATCH!!!

~MR. SAIKYOU~

The fans boo as Yuji Nagata and Sonny Onoo walk out on stage and stop for a second as Sonny Onoo pulls a camera out of his pocket and takes a picture of himself and Nagata before they start to head down the aisle. The announce team talk about how Sonny Onoo hasn’t had the greatest of 24 hours as his plans of beating Ultimo Dragon backfired last night after Dragon defeated Onoo’s business partner Chavo Guerrero.

Nagata climbs inside the ring and starts stretching out while Sonny Onoo stands on the outside talking trash about Ultimo Dragon until the music finally fades out.

~ROAR~

The fans start to cheer as Ultimo Dragon walks out on stage wearing the Cruiserweight Title around his waist. Dragon walks to the center of the stage and stands there with his arms folded looking at the crowd as pyro stars shooting off behind him on the WCW sign. Dragon clinches his fist and starts heading down the aisle with the announce team talking about the match he had with Chavo Guerrero last night and how he’s riding high on his big win.

Dragon climbs inside the ring and both he and Nagata stare at one another with Nagata standing with his arms crossed in the far corner. Dragon starts taking off his title and his cape and continues to stare at his opponent as the music fades out.

Yuji Nagata vs. Ultimo Dragon

The bell rings and Dragon and Nagata lock up. Both can’t get an advantage and break off and Nagata kicks Dragon in the thigh, now Dragon kicks Nagata in the thigh. Nagata and Dragon both continue to kick each other but Nagata now starts chopping and slapping Dragon and backs him off and hits him with a dropkick and covers, 1...2 kick out. Nagata picks him up and chops him in the corner a few times and shoots him to the far side and Dragon does a handstand on the top turnbuckle!!!! Nagata stops dead in his tracks and tries to scout Dragon but Dragon double kicks him in the chest to send him to the mat! Dragon back to his feet now starts kicking Nagata a few times with both legs, SPINNING BACK KICK TO THE JAW that takes down Nagata and Dragon covers but only gets 2 count. Dragon keeps Nagata grounded with a few stomps but Nagata manages to sweep Dragons leg out and now locks in a leg submission. Nagata keeps the pressure on finally releases the hold after Dragon refuses to give. Nagata stays on the leg of Dragon and hits him with a dragon screw! Nagata keeps hold of the leg and spins but Dragon kicks him off. Nagata hits the ropes and leaps over Dragon, Dragon to his feet and plays leap frog with Nagata. Nagata holds the ropes, sidesteps Dragon and goes for a back body drop but Dragon flips off the back of Nagata and dropkicks him! Nagata staggers to the ropes and Dragon runs up but gets sent to the outside but Dragon lands on the apron! Nagata turns around and Dragon shoulders him in the gut and scales the turnbuckle, MISSILE DROPKICK ON NAGATA!!!! Dragon covers, 1...2, Nagata kicks out.

Dragon chops Nagata a few times and sends him to the ropes but Nagata reverses. Dragon bounces off and takes a back elbow!!! Nagata stomps Dragon a few times and now picks him up, snapmares him, and starts kicking Dragon in the back!!! Nagata pulls Dragon up, lifts him up, AND HITS A BACKBREAKER!!!! Nagata covers, 1...2, Dragon kicks out. Nagata tries lifting Dragon but Dragon fights him off with slaps and a big palm strike!!! Nagata is rocky AND DRAGON CLOTHESLINES HIM TO THE OUTSIDE!!! Dragon signals he’s about to take flight as he gets to the apron, ASAI MOONSAULT ON NAGATA!!!! (Cheers!) Dragon rolls Nagata in the ring and climbs back in but Nagata nails him with a knee to the gut. Nagata pulls Dragon out to the center of the ring, wraps him up behind, GERMAN SUPLEX, 1...2...3 NO!!! Dragon kicks out!!! Nagata can’t believe it and starts to talk trash to the ref and allows Dragon to get back up and club him from behind. Dragon shoots Nagata to the ropes, Dragon ducks down and Nagata wraps him up, goes for some sort of suplex, BUT DRAGON COUNTERS AND LOCKS IN THE ‘DRAGON SLEEPER!!!! Dragon has the hold locked in tight, but Sonny Onoo comes in the ring, AND DECKS DRAGON WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD, AND THE REF CALLS FOR THE BELL!!!!

Winner: Ultimo Dragon via DQ 

***The fans start to boo as Nagata and Onoo start stomping Dragon on the mat after the match***

Tony Schiavone:

And it’s a 2 on 1 assault now on Ultimo Dragon!!!

Mike Tenay:

No surprise there. Sonny Onoo saw Nagata in trouble so obviously he just had to interject!!!

Tony Schiavone:

And you know Chavo Guerrero is loving this wherever he is.

***The camera fades backstage where you see Totally Buff and Liz walking in the door of the backstage area carrying their bags and also holding their Tag Team Titles around their shoulders***

You know Lex, I seriously don’t get why we even have to be here tonight. We just kicked the crap out of Kronik last night. We still got the gold. Shouldn’t we be taking a week off to celebrate?

Lex Luger:

Buff, I couldn’t agree with you more. But it’s like I said, Liz got the message on her phone that we’ve gotta be here tonight cuz ‘The Boss’ has something for us.

***The three of them stop dead in their tracks as they come face to face with the Natural Born Thrillers***

***Luger and Buff look at each other for a second with a look of concern on both their faces***

Lex Luger:

Thanks? I guess.... Well, listen, we gotta go see the boss because he’s apparently got something for us, so if ya don’t mind...

***Luger and Buff try to start walking but Palumbo and O’Haire hold their hands out in front, stopping them from going anywhere***

Sean O’Haire:

Whoa, hold up there guys. That’s why we’re here. You see you guys don’t need to go and see McMahon because we already spoke to him earlier.

Chuck Palumbo:

Yeah, see the thing is, you guys aren’t going up against two local punks tonight.... Nah, what’s happening is, you’re going up against us.

Sean O’Haire:

And oh by the way.... The belts are on the line.... See you boys in a bit yeah?

Welcome back fans and if you missed it before we went to commercial break, APPARENTLY we’ve got another match set for tonight, pitting the Tag Team Champions, Totally Buff against the Natural Born Thrillers, Mike.

Mike Tenay:

Certainly not what Totally Buff were expecting but you know something Tony? I kind of like the idea and I’m looking forward to seeing it.

Tony Schiavone:

I think we all are, ‘Professor.’ But right now I think everybody is looking forward to seeing our next match, it’s the Harris Brothers taking on America’s Team of Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas, who are already in the ring awaiting the Harris Brothers, LET’S GO TO THE RING!!!

~H-BOMB!!!!~

The fans give a mixed reaction as the Harris Brothers as the announce team talk about their actions on Jeff Jarrett last night at Halloween Havoc. A video package then begins to play showing the Harris Brothers giving Jarrett the ‘H-Bomb’ inside the cage, and then showing a few clips of Goldberg destroying him moments after.

Once the video package ends, the camera comes back to inside the ring where the Harris Brothers are standing inside getting ready as the music fades

Americas Team vs. Harris Brothers

Ron Harris and Benjamin start things out and Benjamin is already a house of fire punching and chopping away at the bigger Ron Harris. Benjamin sends him to the ropes but Harris reverses. Benjamin ducks a clothesline and hits a big dropick that staggers him. Benjamin back up again and hits another dropkick but Harris still doesn’t go down! Benjamin hits a few forearms and now sends him to the ropes but Harris reverses. Benjamin bounces off and slides under the legs of Harris, ANOTHER BIG DROPKICK THAT TAKES HIM OFF HIS FEET! Benjamin with the cover, 1... Harris kicks out. Benjamin makes the tag to Haas and now Haas comes in and the two whip Harris into the buckle. Benjamin runs up but gets nailed by a back elbow by Harris. Haas runs up but catches a boot by Harris. They both turn AND HARRIS RUNS OUT AND DOUBLE CLOTHESLINES THEM!!!! Harris picks Haas up and tags out to brother Don. The Harris Brothers shoot Haas to the ropes, DOUBLE BIG BOOT!!!! Don makes the cover, 1...2, Haas kicks out.

Harris picks Haas up and puts him in the corner and now starts punching him a few times in the ribs. Harris shoots Haas to the far side and runs up but Haas catches him with a back elbow. Haas gets to the second rope, HITS A CROSSBODY BUT HARRIS CATCHES HIM!!!! Harris holds Haas up but now Benjamin comes in and dropkicks the back off Haas putting down Harris for the cover, 1...2, Harris throws him off! Ron Harris comes in and Benjamin knees him in the gut quickly and dumps him through the ropes to the outside. Ron staggers on the outside for a second, AND BENJAMIN SLINGSHOTS HIMSELF TO THE OUTSIDE ON TOP OF HIM!!!! Haas continues to pound away on Don Harris in the ring and now nails him with a few chops and shoots him to the ropes but Harris reverses. Haas bounces off and hits a cross body but Harris catches him and plants him with a powerslam!!!! Harris with the cover, 1...2, Haas kicks out and now Harris slaps on a reverse chinlock. On the outside Ron Harris manages to grab hold of Benjamin and whips him hard into the guardrail!!!! Ron Harris pounds away on Benjamin but suddenly Jeff Jarrett has hopped over the guardrail!!!! Jarrett turns Ron Harris around, AND SMASHES HIS GUITAR OVER HIS HEAD!!!!! Don Harris releases Haas and now quickly slides out of the ring and starts going after Jeff Jarrett!!!! Jarrett runs up the aisle and disappears behind the curtain. Don thinks twice about going after Jarrett and decides to head back down to check on his brother, but the referee has already counted to 10 and calls for the bell!!!!

That he did. Payback for what they did to him last night at Halloween Havoc!

Well he might have gotten some payback, but I’m pretty sure he’s also gotten two big nasty guys that are going to hunt him down!

***The camera fades backstage where you can see Shawn Stasiak holding the United States Title around his shoulder looking at it with delight while Stacy holds onto his other arm. After a few seconds and the fans booing him, Jeremy Borash steps into view holding a microphone***

Jeremy Borash:

Shawn Stasiak, last night you defeated your former partner Mark Jindrak and are STILL the WCW United States Heavyweight Champion.... But let’s be honest with each other.... You kind of....

***Stasiak holds his hand out signaling Borash to be quiet. Stasiak then adjusts his title and smiles at Borash before he begins to speak***

Shawn Stasiak:

Now hold on a second there Jeremy.... I know what you’re about to say. You’re about to say that I cheated Mark Jindrak right? That I pulled a fast one on him when I had Kane’s music start playing, right? That’s what you were about to say?

Jeremy Borash:

Well, as a matter of fact, yes.

Shawn Stasiak:

See I knew you were about to ask me some kind of stupid question like that. Well allow me to humble you then by saying that I did none of those things. Okay? I didn’t cheat anybody. I certainly did not cheat Jindrak last night. What I did Borash.... Is I outsmarted him. Because you see Borash, I am ‘man enough’ see what I did there? Haha. I am MAN ENOUGH to admit that things got a little rocky there during my performance. Hell you may go as far as to say that Jindrak had a SLIM chance in beating me and taking away my prized possession. And he had every single opportunity to put me away. But he didn’t stay focused. Once Kane’s music hit, he had no idea what in the hell was going on. And that’s when I made my move. THAT’S WHEN I DECIDED TO STRIKE!!!! And he got beat, plain as day, pure and SIMPLE. ***Coming back from commercial, the camera open up to Shane Douglas walking down the corridor of a hallway when he stops at a door that reads Shane McMahon at the top of it. Douglas knocks on the door and waits for a moment before starting to knock again, this time more angrily***

***Douglas knocks on the door once again and then actually tries to open the door up but it’s apparently locked. Suddenly from off camera, a tech person walks up reading something***

Shane Douglas:

Hey kid, do you know if McMahon is in there or not?

Tech Person:

Oh, sorry Mr. Douglas, but Mr. McMahon left about 20 minutes ago for a business meeting. Do you need to relay a message to him? I’d be happy to give it to him...

***Douglas thinks for a moment and then a smirk comes across his face***

Shane Douglas:

As a matter of fact you can... When you see him, tell him the blood is now on his hands...

***Douglas pats the tech person on the shoulder and walks off as the camera fades back inside the arena***

Tony Schiavone:

The blood is on his hands? What the hell is he talking about?

Mike Tenay:

Oh he’s got something brewing in that mind of his. I don’t like it Tony.

Tony Schiavone:

The fans in the arena cheer as Lash Leroux struts out and stage and lets out a big ‘OOOOO WEEEEEEE’ as some pyro goes off behind him. Lash heads down the aisle as the announce team speak about how he’s trying to break out and have that extra push he needs to be successful ever since disbanding from the Misfits In Action.

Lash climbs up the apron and up the turnbuckle and crosses his hands throwing up ‘L’s’ with his fingers before jumping down inside the ring and getting ready as the music finally fades out

~THE NATURAL~

The fans cheer as Dustin and Dusty Rhodes walk out on stage side by side with Dustin wearing the Television Title around his waist. Dustin and Dusty walk to the center of the stage and look around at the fans for a moment before Dusty pats his son on the shoulder and then the two of them walk down to the ring.

The announce team put over Dustin Rhodes as a formidable champion but also praise his soon to be opponent getting ready in the ring as they speak. Dustin Rhodes climbs inside the ring and starts getting ready as the music fades

The bell sounds and Rhodes and Lash shake hands before locking up. Rhodes locks in an arm ringer but Lash rolls and nip ups and counters with an arm ringer. Rhodes reverses and hits a headlock takeover. Lash rolls him up, 1.. Rhodes rolls back into the headlock. Lash rolls him up again, 1..., Rhodes rolls back into the headlock. Lash gets to his feet and shoots him off and Rhodes tackles him. Rhodes bounces off the ropes, leaps over Lash, now they play leap frog and Lash turns and ducks down, RHODES DROPS DOWN AND UPPERCUTS HIM!!!! Rhodes with the cover, 1...2, kick out. Rhodes picks Lash up and puts him in the corner and chops him a few times and shoots him to the far side. Rhodes runs up but Lash kicks him in the face. Rhodes staggers and Lash comes up and hits him with a headscissors!!! Rhodes rolls out of the ring and now Lash lets out a scream and now goes to the ropes, AND SLINGSHOTS HIMSELF ONTO RHODES ON THE OUTSIDE!!!! (Cheers!!!!) Lash picks Rhodes up and slides him back in the ring and now climbs up the turnbuckle and perches himself, BIG MISSILE DROPKICK!!!!! The cover, 1...2... Rhodes kicks out. Lash picks Dustin up and nails him with a few chops and shoots him to the ropes. Rhodes bounces off and ducks a clothesline but holds onto Lash and hits him with a big back suplex!!!! Rhodes covers, 1...2... no!!

Rhodes keeps him grounded now with a reverse chinlock but Lash is refusing to give up. Fans start to rally behind Lash and now Lash manages to get to his feet and elbows Rhodes a few times and hits the ropes and then ducks a clothesline from Rhodes. Rhodes turns around and Lash hits him with a few jabs, hits the splits, AND THEN HITS A SPINNING CLOTHESLINE!!!! The cover, 1...2... Rhodes kicks out. Lash stomps Rhodes a few times and now picks him up and shoots him to the corner. Lash runs up but Rhodes hits him with a back elbow. Lash staggers out of the corner and now Dustin runs up, HITS BULLDOG ON LASH!!!! Rhodes gets to his feet and now signals for the end. Rhodes picks Lash up, ‘LONESTAR STATE OF MIND!!!!!’ (Lifting Falling Reverse DDT) The cover, 1...2...3!!!!

Certainly wasn’t but keep an eye out on the ‘Ragin Cajun’ he’s still got some things to prove here in World Championship Wrestling.

***The camera fades backstage where you see Hardcore Holly talking to his cousin Crash where it appears that Crash is looking sadly upset while Bob is looking to be angrily upset***

Hardcore Holly:

Now I’m telling you what, if I ever see you lose to a couple of punks like that again, I swear on the family I’m gonna string up you by your skinny little neck, you hear me?

Crash:

But cousin it wasn’t my fault. You seen what them boys did with that dag gum forklift. That knocked the wind outta me, it wasn’t my fault and--

***Hardcore Holly slaps his cousin across the face, shutting him up immediately***

Hardcore Holly:

I don’t wanna hear any of your damn excuses! You done screwed up and made a damn fool outta me, so git yer head out yer ass and get it together before I put my boot so far up--

***Suddenly from off camera the Filthy Animals appear***

Konnan:

Ay yo dog, why don’t you just chillax for a second about what happened last night. Yo, not for nothing, even though we don’t like your peoples.... Your cuz got mad heart. And we gots to respect that just a little bit.

***Crash Holly gets a shocked look on his face and sort of smirks a bit***

Crash:

Hardcore Holly:

**Interrupting** SHUT UP!!!! **Staring At Konnan** I really don’t give a damn what you gotta say. You might respect him, and I could give a damn what my cousin thinks about you. But far as I’m concerned, I don’t like any damn one of ya. Ya’ll might have beaten him and those other two chumps, but I’ll tell ya what, you wont beat me in a fight. And I’ll guaran damn tee that on Thunder. Now what you gotta say about that?

***Konnan looks back at Rey and Kidman who stand beside him ready to throw down but Konnan backs them up and turns back to Holly getting in his face***

Konnan:

Oh yeah we can most definitely see about that.... But why don’t you put that title on the line and we can get down.

Hardcore Holly:

You want a shot at my belt? You’re on. I’ll see you Thursday night.

***Hardcore Holly smirks and then grabs Crash by the head and pushes him off camera, following him leaving the Animals alone***

Konnan:

Better pack a lunch homie, cuz it’s gon be an all day job know what I’m sayin.

***The Animals share a laugh with Billy and Rey patting Konnan on the back as the camera fades out***

Welcome back fans and if you’re just joining us, right before the commercial break, it seems things aren’t going well for the Holly family is it Mike?

Mike Tenay:

Well certainly not in the mind of Hardcore Holly. Scolding his cousin Crash for losing the match against the Filthy Animals last night. But I think the bigger outcome of that, is we’ve got a title match coming up on Thunder.

Tony Schiavone:

Hardcore Title on the line, Konnan gets his shot against Hardcore Holly. But that comes Thursday, right now we’re going to the ring where the Tag Team Titles will be on the line, IT’S TOTALLY BUFF DEFENDING AGAINST THE NATURAL BORN THRILLERS, LET’S GO TO THE RING!!!!

The fans cheer as the Natural Born Thrillers walk out on stage and double high five each other and start to head down to the ring. The announce team review how this challenge happened earlier and speak on their accolades going into this match being former Tag Team Champions and are trying to regain that top position.

The Thrillers climb inside the ring and both climb opposite turnbuckles and raise their arms in victory as the music fades

~TOTAL PACKAGE~

The fans boo as Buff Bagwell and Lex Luger walk out with Liz by their side. Luger and Buff talk on their way down to the ring while the Thrillers stand inside the ring smiling and waving their hands at Totally Buff trying to enable them to get in the ring.

Totally Buff and Liz stand down by the ring for a few moments before Buff and Lex get the referee to bring the Thrillers to their corner so that they can get inside the ring. Buff and Lex climb inside the ring and then suddenly the Thrillers rush them and start beating them down!!!!!

Tag Team Title

Palumbo and O’Haire work over Totally Buff in separate corners and now Palumbo grabs Luger and tosses him to the outside. O’Haire grabs Buff and shoots him to the ropes, BIG BACK BODY DROP ON BAGWELL!!!!! Bagwell slides to the outside in pain and gathers with Luger as the Thrillers stand inside the ring tall and get the fans to rally behind them. Totally Buff stand on the outside for a moment and now Luger makes the ref back off the Thrillers and now he gets in the ring. Palumbo in the ring with Luger now and they lock up and Palumbo takes the arm of Luger and starts working it over. Palumbo puts Luger in the corner and tags out to O’Haire and the Thrillers stomp Luger in the corner!!! O’Haire pulls Luger out of the corner and hits a body slam and now hits the ropes, BIG KNEE DROP, the cover, 1...2, Luger kicks out. O’Haire picks up Luger and tags out to Palumbo. They whip Luger to the ropes but Bagwell blind tags himself in. Luger ducks a double clothesline and Bagwell comes in quickly AND CHOP BLOCKS PALUMBO!!! O’Haire grabs Bagwell and starts stomping him in the corner but Luger runs up and forearms him in the back. Luger now grabs O’Haire and tosses him over the top to the outside. Bagwell now on top of Palumbo stomping the injured leg and now Bagwell drops an elbow to the leg of Palumbo and applies pressure to the knee. Bagwell keeps the hold locked in for a few moments before getting back up and tagging out to Luger. Luger comes in and stomps the leg of Palumbo some more and now puts his leg on the ropes and leaps up and drops down on the leg! Palumbo rolls and screams in pain as Luger takes a moment to pose as the crowd boos him.

Luger continues stomping on the leg of Palumbo but now Palumbo is starting to fight back with right hands and finally gets to his feet and forearms Luger a few times but Luger dropkicks the leg of Palumbo! Luger gets back up and runs over and shoves O’Haire and now O’Haire gets in the ring but the ref stops him allowing Bagwell and Luger to double team Palumbo. Bagwell acts as if he’s made the tag and now locks a single leg boston crab on the bad leg of Palumbo. Palumbo screams in pain but now fights for and grabs the bottom rope. Bagwell breaks the hold and continues to stomp on the leg and now picks Palumbo up and chops him a few times and sends him to the ropes but Palumbo reverses. Bagwell bounces off and kicks at Palumbo but Palumbo grabs the leg! Palumbo spins him around ‘JUNGLE KICK’ (Superkick) CONNECTS ON BAGWELL!!!!! Palumbo is down holding his leg and now crawls, AND TAGS TO O’HAIRE!!!! O’Haire comes in and decks Luger with a clothesline. Luger up again gets knocked back down with another clothesline!!! Luger is up again and O’Haire picks him up, HIGH MILITARY PRESS AND HE THROWS HIM DOWN!!!!!! Luger rolls to the outside and now Buff is up and O’Haire nails him with a big clothesline. Bagwell is back to his feet and is groggy and O’Haire picks him up on his shoulders, ROLLING FIREMANS CARRY SLAM ON BAGWELL!!!!! O’Haire gets to his feet and signals for the end of Bagwell and now goes to the outside and starts climbing up the turnbuckle. Meanwhile on the other side Liz is standing on the apron distracting the referee, AND LUGER HAS THE TAG BELT ON THE OTHER SIDE AND DECKS O’HAIRE IN THE HEAD WITH IT AND O’HAIRE TOPPLES OFF THE TURNBUCKLE!!!!! Bagwell makes the cover AND THE REF SEES IT, 1...2...3!!!!!

And thanks to the cheap tactics of Totally Buff, they once again walk out of here as the Tag Team Champions!!!

The numbers game always plays a factor and thanks to Liz, you saw the distraction, you saw Luger grab one of the belts and deck Sean O’Haire in the head with it. That was all she wrote.

***As Totally Buff are heading back up the ramp celebrating, the Turnertron comes on and you see Kevin Nash and DDP smiling as the fans are starting to cheer at their appearance***

Kevin Nash:

Well, well, well, Lex and Buff, hey boys, gotta tell ya, that was a big win for you boys. How about it Dallas?

DDP:

You know something ‘Big Sexy?’ That was a big win for em. But hey, you know we had ourselves a big win last night at the Pay Per View.

Kevin Nash:

Hey that’s right. We did get a big win last night at the Pay Per View.... And I think with us winning that big match last night. That’s gotta be a sign don’t ya think?

DDP:

A sign? What kinda sign are you talking about there ‘Big Sexy?’

Kevin Nash:

Well, gotta be honest with ya Page. I think it’s a sign that says, maybe you and I should throw our names out there for a Tag Team Title shot. What ya think?

DDP:

Oooooooooo I COULDN’T AGREE WITH YOU MORE!!!! Buff.... Luger.... You heard the big man. And now you’re gonna hear it from me. Whether its on Thunder. Nitro. Saturday Night. Sooner, later, hell, maybe at the Pay Per View.... You’re looking at the future WCW World Tag Team Champs. You got em, we want em. So keep em shined up nice for us will ya?

***The turnertron fades out and Totally Buff start complaining as to what they just witnessed and heard***

Tony Schiavone:

DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE AND KEVIN NASH HAVE STAKED THEIR CLAIM TO THE TAG TEAM TITLES!!!!!

Mike Tenay:

And Totally Buff are completely livid about it!!!

Tony Schiavone:

WE’VE GOT TO TAKE A BREAK, BUT WHEN WE COME BACK, THE MAIN EVENT IS NEXT!!!! DON’T GO AWAY!!!!

***The camera fades back from commercial where a limousine has just arrived. The camera zooms in on the limousine but nobody gets out and then the camera fades back to the announcers table***

Tony Schiavone:

Well there you see fans a limousine has just pulled up and we have no idea who’s inside. I honestly can’t speculate on who it is but right now we have to go to the ring for our Main Event and we will find out just WHO WILL FACE the ‘Nature Boy’ Ric Flair next week. TAKE IT AWAY DAVID PENZER!!!!

~HOLLER.... IF YA HEAR ME~

The fans boo as Scott Steiner walks out on stage with Midajah by his side carrying the trusty lead pipe in her hands as Steiner starts to pose and flex before heading down to the ring. The announcers talk about how its been a while since Scott Steiner has been a World Champion and how it was Booker T that defeated him on the what was supposed to be the final Nitro before Shane McMahon bought the company and speak on how he would like nothing more than to go one on one with Ric Flair in order to become champion again.

Steiner climbs inside the ring and starts posing and flexing in the middle of the ring and then goes over to the turnbuckle, climbs up, and poses and flexes more before dropping down to the mat and starts getting ready as the music fades

~DON’T HATE THE PLAYA.... HATE THE GAME~

The fans cheer as Booker T walks out on stage hyping the crowd up shadowboxing before raising his hands in the air and fire starts shooting out of the entrance ramp. Booker T starts heading down the aisle slapping hands with the fans as the announce team put him over and also speak on the fact that it has been a while since he himself has held the World Heavyweight Title and that he would love to earn himself the opportunity to face Ric Flair for the World Title.

Booker T climbs inside the ring and stares down Scott Steiner for a second before climbing up the turnbuckle and raising his arms in the air again with the fans cheering him on before dropping down to the mat and getting ready as the music fades

~INVASION~

The fans start cheering as the turnertron comes on and shows security guards knocking on a door and out walks Goldberg. Goldberg heads down the corridor backstage with the security guards and makes his way to the gorilla position and then the camera fades inside the arena where sparks start flying out of the entrance ramp and you see Goldberg walk into them and starts to breath in the smoke. The sparks stop and Goldberg screams, slaps his head and starts throwing fists and kicks in the air as fireworks start going off above the entrance ramp.

Goldberg starts heading down the aisle and the announce team speak on his accolades being undefeated for so long but also speaking about how he hasn’t held a World Title for a long while and that he is probably without question the high end favorite to win this match and face Flair next week on Nitro.

Goldberg climbs inside the ring and stares down Steiner and Booker T and starts getting ready as the music fades

Scott Steiner vs. Booker T vs. Goldberg

The bell rings and all 3 circle one another and now Steiner rushes in and starts punching Goldberg a few times and backs him to the ropes and shoots him off but Goldberg reverses and sends Steiner. Steiner bounces off AND GOLDBERG SUPERKICKS HIM IN THE FACE!!!! Steiner rolls to the outside and now Booker T runs up behind Goldberg and leaps up and locks in a sleeper on Goldberg! Goldberg struggles for a moment but now grabs the head of Booker T and whips him down to the mat! Goldberg grabs Booker T and now shoots him to the ropes but Booker reverses and sends Goldberg, ‘HARLEM SIDEKICK’ MISSES!!! Goldberg hits the ropes and Steiner trips him up and pulls him to the outside and quickly whips him hard into the guardrail!!! Goldberg tries shaking it off but Steiner quickly comes up and starts punching him. Booker T on the outside now grabs Steiner and punches and chops him a few times and now tries whipping him to the guardrail but Steiner reverses and sends Booker T in hard. Steiner takes a moment to pose for a second and now goes after Booker T but Goldberg spins him around and nails him with a few punches and now whips him into Booker T WHO BACK BODY DROPS HIM OVER THE GUARDRAIL AND INTO THE FANS!!!! (Cheers!!!!) Booker T and Goldberg lock eyes and Goldberg points to the ring and Booker nods his head in agreement and they both go back in the ring. Booker and Goldberg lock up and Booker locks in an arm ringer. Goldberg reverses and now hits a roll on Booker T and locks in a leg submission. Booker screams in pain but makes it to the ropes and Goldberg lets go of the hold. Booker gets back to his feet and Goldberg grabs Booker and puts him in the corner and nails a few shoulders to the gut. Goldberg whips Booker to the far side and Booker hits hard, Goldberg runs up, BOOKER MOVES AND GOLDBERG HITS HARD AND BOOKER ROLLS HIM UP, 1...2, Goldberg kicks out! Goldberg tries getting up but Booker stomps him in the head and now Goldberg scurries to the corner and Booker comes up and starts stomping him down. Booker continues to stomp him but now the ref pulls him off. Booker goes back after him but now Goldberg pops up and puts Booker in the corner and starts stomping him!!! Goldberg stomps him down and now turns around and lets out a scream. Booker gets back up and Goldberg whips him to the far side and runs in quickly and gives him a clothesline!!!! Booker topples out of the corner and Goldberg covers, 1...2, kick out.

Back on the outside Scott Steiner is making his way back to ringside as Goldberg drops down and locks in a reverse chinlock on Booker T. Goldberg applies more pressure and now Steiner is back in the ring and nails Goldberg in the back of the head with an axe handle. Steiner stomps Goldberg a few times and now grabs him and tosses him to the outside. Steiner turns his attention to Booker T and stomps him a few times but Booker starts fighting back and now starts chopping him. Booker shoots Steiner to the ropes but Steiner reverses. Steiner ducks down and Booker goes for a kick but Steiner catches him, spins him around and wraps him up, SPINNING SIDE BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX!!!! Steiner with the cover, 1...2... Booker kicks out!!! Steiner gets up and stomps him a few times and now runs to the ropes and stomps Goldberg down from getting back in the ring. Steiner stomps Booker T and Booker staggers to the corner. Steiner picks Booker up and sits him on the turnbuckle and now climbs up and attempts a superplex but Booker blocks it and shoves Steiner down to the mat!!!! Steiner gets back to his feet, ‘HEAT SEEKER’ (Missile Dropkick) CONNECTS WITH STEINER!!!! Booker makes the cover, 1...2... GOLDBERG makes the save. Goldberg gets back up and nails Booker T with a few right hands and shoots him to the corner. Booker hits hard and Goldberg runs up but Booker gives him a back elbow. Goldberg staggers back and now Booker comes out of the corner, ‘AXE KICK’ TO THE BACK OF GOLDBERGS HEAD!!!!! (Cheers!!!!!) Booker T breakdances to his feet to the delight of the fans but Scott Steiner runs up and clotheslines him down!!!! Booker rolls to the outside and now Steiner grabs hold of Goldberg, ‘STEINER RECLINER!!!!! Steiner has it locked in and Goldberg is trying to fight it but Steiner continues to apply pressure. The fans start rallying behind Goldberg and now Goldberg starts gaining strength, AND GETS TO HIS FEET WITH STEINER ON HIS BACK!!!!! (Cheers!!!!) Goldberg is up, and backs Steiner hard into the corner to break the hold!!!!

Goldberg takes a moment to shake off the affects of the move and now turns around and Steiner runs up and clotheslines him. Steiner stomps Goldberg a few times and now turns around but Booker T is there and nails him with a few right hands and chops. Booker shoots him to the ropes and gives him a back elbow!!! Steiner back up, gets nailed by a clothesline!!!! Steiner is up again and goes for a right hand but Booker T ducks and wraps him up for the ‘Book End’ but Steiner elbows himself out of it. Steiner nails him with a few right hands and turns around, GOLDBERG RUSHES STEINER WHO MOVES, ‘SPEAR’ TO BOOKER T!!!!!! Goldberg gets to his feet and screams holding out his arms signaling for the ‘Jackhammer’ but Steiner grabs him and tosses him to the outside!!!!! Steiner drops down and covers Booker T, 1....2....3!!!!!! STEINER WINS IT!!!!!!

Tony Schiavone:

STEINER STEALS THIS ONE!!!! Booker T got nailed by the ‘Spear’ from Goldberg, he was aiming for Steiner!!!!

Mike Tenay:

Doesn’t really matter who he aimed for, he hit it with precision but took his eyes away from Steiner and Steiner just capitalized!!!

Tony Schiavone:

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s going to Ric Flair putting the title on the line next Monday Nitro against ‘Big Poppa Pump’ Scott Steiner. Mike, I’m a little bit worried that Flair’s title reign might be.... Hold on a second.... Wait, something is going on with that limousine, can we get a camera back there....

***The camera fades backstage by the limousine that pulled up earlier and the door opens up, and out steps Ric Flair!!!!!! ***

Tony Schiavone:

THE ‘NATURE BOY’ IS HERE!!!!! RIC FLAIR IS HERE!!!!!

Mike Tenay:

WHAT THE HECK IS HE DOING HERE!?!?!

Tony Schiavone:

I HAVE NO IDEA BUT WE’RE STICKING WITH THIS!!!!! DON’T GO ANYWHERE FANS, SOMETHING BIG IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN, I CAN FEEL IT!!!!

COMMERCIAL

***The camera fades back inside the arena showing Ric Flair walking down the corridor backstage and making his way to the gorilla position and then the camera fades into the arena***

~WOOOOOOOOOOOO~

***The fans cheer as Ric Flair walks out onto the entrance ramp and B lines it straight for the ring. The camera shows Flair wearing a bandage on his head from the cut he sustained in the Main Event last night***

Tony Schiavone:

I CANNOT believe that the ‘Nature Boy’ is here. And fans, we’re sticking with this till the end!!!!

***Flair gets inside the ring where ‘Mean’ Gene Okerlund is standing by. Flair walks over to Okerlund and stands by him as the music fades***

Gene Okerlund: ‘Nautre Boy’ Ric Flair.... Not only did you shock the world last night in completing that 60 minute Iron Man match.... But you shock us again here tonight with your presence. Tell us Ric, why are you here tonight?

***Flair looks around for a moment before taking the microphone from Okerlund and putting his hand on his shoulder***

Ric Flair:

‘MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAN’ WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! GENE!!!!!!!! You know I always enjoy these chats with you my friend. But right now, I’m gonna go ahead and take things over, you can go ahead and take the rest of the night off, cuz what I’m about to say, might get ya in the line of fire.... So please....

***Flair pats Gene Okerlund on the shoulder and then Gene Okerlund walks out of the ring leaving Flair alone in the center of the ring***

NOW!!!!! DETROIT, MICHIGAN!!!!! (Cheers!!!!) Yeah.... LAST NIGHT I shocked the world. I walked into Halloween Havoc with a little doubt in my mind thinking I might not have had what it takes anymore to go the distance with WHOEVER stood across this ring from me. BUT I’LL BE DAMNED IF I DIDN’T WALK THAT AISLE, GOT IN THIS RING, STYLED AND PROFILED, AS OOOOOOOONNNNNNNLY THE ‘NATURE BOY’ CAN, AND I WENT THE DISTANCE, AND I AM STILL THE ’60 MINUTE MAN’ IN THIS RING, ALL OVER THE WORLD, AND EVEN IN THE BEDROOM, WOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

***The fans cheer as Flair looks on for a few seconds but then holds his hand up signaling for the fans to tone it down a notch***

Ric Flair:

But.... Even though I proved that I can still go the distance. I am humbled enough to say to you fans here, and to the fans out there, that I got my ass kicked by the man that stood across the ring from me. And I’m talking about ‘The Franchise’ Shane Douglas. (Boos!!!!) SHANE DOUGLAS!!!!! I CAN BE A MAN ABOUT THIS, YOU KICKED MY ASS LAST NIGHT, THERE’S NO QUESTION ABOUT IT!!!! You kicked my ass to the point where I couldn’t continue, and for that, the match went to a draw, I’m still the World Heavyweight Champion, and I know that Shane McMahon stood out here earlier tonight and said that it was your last chance. But understand this Douglas.... After what happened last night, I will make you the promise. Whenever, and wherever, if I can get Shane McMahon to give you ONE MORE MATCH against me, I’ll do it. Because I owe that to you for not being able to continue. I owe it to you, I owe it to these people!!! Douglas I will make you that promise.... But damnit, you need to get your ass out here right here, RIGHT NOW, SWALLOW YOUR PRIDE, AND SHAKE MY DAMN HAND IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS RING!!!!

Tony Schiavone:

I... I can’t believe what I’m hearing from the ‘Nature Boy’ Mike?!?!

Mike Tenay:

It’s no secret that these two outside of the ring have turmoil against one another, but you heard it here, the ‘Nature Boy’ wants Douglas out here now to shake his hand!

***The fans boo as Shane Douglas walks out on stage staring down to the ring at Flair who stares right back at him. Douglas heads down to the ring as the announce team talk about how Douglas is going to react to what Flair has issued to him. Douglas climbs inside the ring and keeps his distance in the corner and just stares at Flair as the music fades***

Ric Flair:

‘Franchise’ it’s no secret that in and out of this ring, you and I don’t like each other. I know it. You know it. I despise you. You despise me. And we’ve kept it no secret between each other and to every magazine, every reporter, every media outlet whenever they’ve asked what we think of the other. Let’s get that out the way right here and now.... But last night Shane Douglas. You took me to my limit! You made me sweat! You made me pay the price! And I SWEAR AS GOD AS MY WITNESS!!!! If the referees and the paramedics said I could go five more minutes, I’d have done it! You know damn well I’d have done it! The fact that I couldn’t, it is what it is, I’m still the champion, and I don’t know if five more minutes would have changed the outcome. But the fact of the matter is that I wasn’t allowed to continue, and here we are. But getting back to the point of the matter. And that’s this.... Whether we like each other or not. You took me to my limit last night. You brought out the best in me that even I haven’t seen in quite some time. And it’s because of that, I will make you the promise that I will do everything in my power to try and get McMahon to give us one more match if I can beat Steiner next Monday night.... And I will only do that if you agree to shake my hand. And I’ll shake your hand as a sign of respect, for what we did last night.

***Flair puts down the microphone and extends his hand to Douglas who stares at it reluctantly. Flair motions for Douglas to shake his hand and Douglas looks down and thinks about it for a few seconds before walking up to Flair and taking the microphone from him enabling the fans to rain down a chorus of boos for a few seconds***

Shane Douglas: You’re right about two things Flair. First, you’re right, I hate you damn guts!!!! (Boos!!!!!) And two.... I DID kick your ass last night. And make no mistake about it, if I had gotten five more minutes, I’d be standing here THE NEW WORLDS HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!!! I KNOW IT, THESE PEOPLE KNOW IT, LAST NIGHT THE PEOPLE THAT SAW IT LIVE KNEW IT, AND DEEP DOWN INSIDE YOUR ASS KNOWS IT!!!!

***The fans boo as Douglas starts to pace back and forth still staring at Flair who stands tall but withdraws his hand finally as he knows he might not shake it***

Shane Douglas: The fact that I didn’t get five more minutes, let’s lay some truth into this matter, I WAS ROBBED, I WAS SCREWED, AND YOU KNOW DAMN WELL I WAS!!!! (Boos!!!!!) But.... I will tell you this Flair.... I admire that you want to come out here and admit all that you admitted about last night.... And I admire that you know that because of what happened last night, you want to do everything in your power to get Shane McMahon to give me another shot at the World Title.... So let me get this straight.... If I shake your hand as a sign of respect.... You’ll go to McMahon and get me another shot at you and the World Title?

***Ric Flair nods his head and says that’s all he’s gotta do and once again he holds his hand out for Douglas to shake it. Douglas looks at Flairs hand and walks up to him and looks him in the eye***

Shane Douglas: Flair.... Before I do anything.... I just want you to know one thing.... I will NEVER respect you.

***Douglas suddenly takes the microphone and decks Flair in the head with it, dropping him down to the mat!!!!***

Tony Schiavone:

I THINK WE ALL KNEW THAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN, AND THE TRIPLE THREAT ARE COMING OUT NOW TO JOIN THEIR LEADER!!!!

***While Douglas is stomping Flair, suddenly, Chris Candido and Bam Bam Bigelow rush down and slide inside the ring and start helping Douglas stomp a prone and still injured Ric Flair. The bandage has been stripped from Flairs head and he has been busted open yet again from that microphone shot***

Tony Schiavone:

THE TRIPLE THREAT ARE JUST BEATING AN ALREADY INJURED RIC FLAIR, HE’S BEEN BUSTED OPEN, WE NEED SOME HELP OUT HERE DAMNIT!!!!

***Douglas and the Triple Threat continue to stomp Flair as the camera fades to the WCW Logo and it goes off the air***

With 24 hours removed from Monday Nitro, World Championship Wrestling heads to the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota for Thunder, and after what transpired on Nitro recently, a storm is definitely coming.

The rivalry between Chavo Guerrero and Ultimo Dragon continues on Thunder this week but it will be in tag action this week. After Sonny Onoo blatantly interfered on behalf of his client Yuji Nagata, it was decided that the business partners would team up to take on Ultimo Dragon and a partner of his choice. Ultimo Dragon is known for being that of a loner throughout his WCW career but when it came down to it, he chose the young up and comer Blitzkrieg to be his partner. Will they be able to make it past Chavo and Yuji Nagata as well as Sonny Onoo? We’ll find out Thursday night!

After walking out with a big win at Halloween Havoc, Kevin Nash and Diamond Dallas Page sent a message to whomever the Tag Team Champions were coming out of Nitro between the Natural Born Thrillers and Totally Buff that they want their shot at the titles. After Totally Buff walked out with the win over the Natural Born Thrillers, it would be determined that Diamon Dallas Page would go one on one with Lex Luger in the Main Event of Thunder. But it is expected that Malice and Mike Awesome will also be in attendance so we can only assume WHAT might happen with those two teams in the same building after what happened at Halloween Havoc.

After an altercation between the Filthy Animals and the Holly’s, the challenge was laid out by Hardcore Holly to Konnan who accepted and they will do battle for the Hardcore Title on Thunder this week. The Animals are coming off a big win from Halloween Havoc after defeating 3 Count and Crash Holly so it would be a huge boost if Konnan can walk away with the Hardcore Title but Hardcore Holly has been on a roll with title defenses as of late, albeit thanks to his cousin for helping him escape some dangerous situations, but anything can happen.

And after the shocking conclusion to Nitro this week, Shane Douglas and the Triple Threat are scheduled to appear on Thunder this week. Bam Bam Bigelow and Chris Candido will be in tag action against the Mamalukes, but what will Shane Douglas be up to? One can only speculate that he will have something to say for his actions against Ric Flair but there is some speculation that Shane McMahon will have something to say to Douglas as he was reported to be not happy with the incident that took place.
