WWF should have done Heel Lex vs Face Bret.

That's a great dynamic. Guy who claims he's the Total Package but is all muscle and talk, versus guy who can back it up.

Of course the logical endpoint is Luger putting over Bret, and that'd never happen, no way they'd put an actual wrestler over a musclehead

1989 showed what Luger can do when he's at his best.

Didn't he get into a car accident a few years ago that hampered his wrestling abilities?

Well, there goes that momentum for their first episode running against RAW. Sabu immediately fumbled with a DQ loss and no reason to care. IRS back on TV in big '95. Savage/Norton was decent and I kind of dug the silly finish with Tenta but I understand why you wouldn't. Hogan vs. Luger yawn. Luger looks like an idiot not knowing when Hogan's tapped, and celebrates like he's won, then Dungeon of Doom screws up the show again. This was meant to be the big go home show for Fall Brawl but it makes me not want to bother with the PPV I already paid for.

Also, really with the spoiling of taped RAW? Just exposing the business. Not like you were missing much on RAW as they insist on pushing those cowboy jobbers and the fuckin' dentist. Just more examples of big men with stupid gimmicks who'll go nowhere and be forgotten by 2000. The ratings war between these companies is going to be won by accident because the other guys shit the bed harder

Shit, why eveh bring in Sabu and have him get DQ'd like that?

Also no kidding, Fall Brawl seems like it won't be a great show anyhow, like Flair/Anderson might be the only match worth watching.

Clearly there's gonna be a time period of working out the kinks. Hopefully they can do that fast though.

Yea, I'm not sure what they were thinking. Makes them look like they have no confidence in their own product. Maybe it's a one-time deal, just to rattle the cage a bit, so to speak.

Yeah we all know that RAW is pre-taped, but it's incredibly asinine to tell people what's gonna happen on the other channel.

Shit, what if WCW end up spoiling a WWF happening that people actually want to see? Though that would require WWF to build something that doesn't suck outside of the Bret/Shawn/Diesel crop. Even Razor seems to be cooling off unnaturally and Owen's dragging 500 pounds of dead weight around

So, how about that Fall Brawl, huh? WarGames has hit a new low by just becoming another Hogan Wins match. But aside from that...

Giving Pillman and Badd half an hour was a bold move and it really paid off. Both those guys are going to be THE guys in WCW going into the millennium.

Thank fuck the Renegade's TV Title reign is over, he's flopped hard.

Harlem Heat/Stud Stable was stunningly boring as always but at least maybe it's over. Hope the Heat get decent opponents soon, they've been working with trash the past year.

Flair and Arn of course saving the show before Hogan and co. unsaving it

The TV title is so useless now, I don't see why we need so many belts. This Diamond Dallas push has ended up being good but I don't see how it even helps him other than having a prop

Honestly I'm such a massive Johnny B. Badd mark. I love him so much.

I really hope he gets a hard push sooner or later in this company, I could see him being a potential top guy... if it wasn't for Hogan hogging the spotlight, ya know?
