At Friday night's WWE house show in Cape Girardeau, MO Chris Jericho seemed to get injured. Jericho went for the Lionsault but Mr. Kennedy was too far away and Y2J landed awkwardly on his head. The referee tossed up the X sign with his hands a few times but Jericho was able to get back up and lock on a very poor Walls of Jericho for the win. Following the match several trainers came out and helped him to the back.

Jericho did compete at last night's event in Louisville, KY so he seems to be fine. Those in attendance in MO though, said it was a very scary situation and it seems as if Y2J is very lucky he wasn't majorly injured

Himself, Cena, Lashley and Y2J. The list continues. Not necessarily injured by Kennedy but either the injury angle was given to him or got injured during a match with him

The last thing WWE needs is for the ME injuries to start again after they just put that behind them but now Rey is injured whose going to be next? God job Y2J wasn't injured 'cause I wana see him in the MITB again too.

Good thing Y2J wasn't injured I definitely want him in MITB and I want him to turn heel. I don't know if these injuries are techincally Kennedy's fault, but obviously he and his opponents have had some bad luck. Although I believe Lashley was injured prior to his match with Kennedy, I think that was just an angle. Luckily Y2J wasn't hurt, but mistakes happen and it just seems like they haven't a little bit more with Kennedy around.

OMG if Y2J got injured, I probably won't be ordering Mania. He is my fav, I hope he is ok

Um, the X thing doesn't indicate serious injury anymore btw. The fans caught onto it. They through it up quite reguarly now and yet it means nothing. They still finish the match. No one is quite sure what the new signal is for a serious injury anymore. The refs are currently instructed to give the X whenever someone is okay but it looks bad especially if it helps make the wrestler look more tough when they finish the match.

^Hmm that's interesting, I didn't know that. I did notice that they were putting up the X a little more often, I figured that many people couldn't be getting seriously hurt. It makes sense though that they'd change it up so the fans don't know what's going on.

I know I will get hammered by all the Kennedy fans out there, but the guy is just sloppy in the ring. I'm not sure how many of the guys listed he is either directly or indirectly responsible for injuring, but when you work sloppy and aren't careful people get injured.

Well I'm a huge Kennedy fan and I'm not going to totally disagree he is a little sloppy. However when I watch Kennedy it seems like he always wrestles very physically and hard. I'm sure that's just how he's booked, but with that kind of style small mistakes become much larger. That being said though I still think that Kennedy gets more heat than he should as far as in-ring performance is concerned, I've always found him pretty good in the ring and entertaining to watch.

I deeply enjoy Kennedy but yeah he's been worse on the mic and sloppy in the ring lately. I praise the man mainly for injuring Cena, shit I hope he does it again. Every match with Cena vs Kennedy is another match Kennedy might injure Cena... It's another hope for a better WWE.

I noticed this a long time ago. I would steer clear of him too.
