So I worked out today and I did weight lifting... it was f**king HARD! I've worked out before, but I've only done Cardio (for weight loss). Never lifted weights. And let me tell ya Masturbation can really work against you. My left arm could barely do half of the stuff my right arm could do lol.

But I think it'll be worth it in the end, I'm honestly tired of being out of shape.

What amount of weight were you lifting and how many reps? I'd start off slow mig maybe 20 to 40 pounds, I started off on that and i can lift a considerately amount more haha. Im only 5'8 so im no monster on the bench in the slightest.

Just do more reps with your left and it'll catch up to your right. That or you can use some grip tools and do it faster that way. Thats what I did to get my left hand as strong as my right for boxing. Just keep at it, eventually it'll get easier, than you'll have to work out harder.

Are you looking for cardio, health? Or just wanted to be able to walk around a beach with no shirt on?

I don't know to be honest. I got out my Tower 200, did as many as I could do in 10 minute periods on different resistance levels. I'm pretty sure some of the levels I did were in the 20 to 40 pound range. My arms and parts of my upper body feel sore, and that's usually a good sign. I guess I need to work a little more harder on my legs.

Well, it's a little bit of all. Right now, I just want to get in a bit more better shape for a female I'll be doing something with in a few weeks time (looks). I eventually want to get in shape fully with a great body and the health benefits.

But don't worry, I know about nutrition part of this. I'm making sure I watch my calorie intake and get my protein.

Well seeing as you are trying to tone up, running would be better than lifting weights. If you were going to use weights, should incorporate lighter weights in cardio excercises. If you have a treadmill, you could try use a jump rope with it. Gives your core and you glutes a monsterous burn, and will burn off fat faster. It's tough though.
