Saw on reddit how this is the 16th anniversary of this amazing promo, and thought William Regal is one of the most underappreciated talents in the history of wrestling.

William Regal had some of the best facial expressions out of any wrestling. They were incredible.

Insanely good talent. Shame some of his personal demons reared their ugly head again, not long after he became King of the Ring back in 08. I have no doubt he'd have been the first British/English World Champion in WWE.

I fuckin' love William Regal. He can make a 1 minute match fun or put on a 20 minute classic. The dude is just a one of a kind worker from his technical skills to his brawlin', he is always fun to watch.

And now Chris has me watchin' that Superstars episode of where they fuck with Regal to see if that Bryan match holds up.

Yeah if you love pure Wrestling Regal is the perfect guy to fill that taste. I don't think I've ever seen a bad Match from Regal in his Career. I swear their was a Match he had with Finlay in 06 or 07 that I really enjoyed. My Watch-Through of WCW from 96 before losing all my files had me remembering Regal for sure and in some ways WCW didn't know truly what they had which is why he left for WWE waters.

Regal is great and he seems like such a good guy irl, from what I heard about him on Bruce Prichard's pod on the episode where they cover Regal, he's such a loyal and kind person. He was a lot of fun to watch in the ring, and his character work was absolutely hilarious. Plus, his "Real Man's Man" theme is the best.
