It was definitely better than expected, but then again, I expressed my optimism in an earlier thread that it could easily turn out as such. It wasn't the card on paper that looked bad, but rather the fact that the build lacked in many ways, plus the dread of seeing a babyface as cold as Roman Reigns getting to dethrone The Beast. I'm proud to say the show delivered.
Highlight Of The Night: Seth Rollins having the GOAT Money In The Bank cash-in. Him deciding to do so while the Brock/Reigns match was still ongoing on was a brilliant piece of booking that made for a perfect ending. Awesome.
Biggest Annoyance Of The Night: The commentators (mainly JBL) continuously burying WCW during the HHH/Sting match. OK, we get it. It's still a small thorn in your sides that WCW had your number for a couple of years back in the day. But you won the war 14 years ago and Sting even expressed in his promo last Monday that he wasn't fighting for WCW's honor since it would be a rather frivolous thing for him to do at this point, but the commentary as well as including D-X (on the winning side) and the NWO (on the heel side) was pretty much designed as one last shot at WCW. I'm not even mad that HHH won since it was about time he won a big match again, but still.
