Paige is just like Daniel Bryan both busted their ass' on the indys for peanuts before getting found by WWE. Paige deserves this call up to the main roster and she deserves this title win on her first night on the main roster

Not sure if any of you have seen the documentary that aired on channel 4 here in the UK about her and her family it really shows where she came from and where she is now

Theres no politics here Paige has earned this opportunity fairly

Paige wasent tapping she was getting out of the move and lifting up AJ and thats when she hit the Paige turner
Obviously she didn't tap or they would have ended it there (or would they?). Something went wrong there (as in BOTCH) just not sure who was at fault. Something tells me you're going to say AJ though.

Paige is just like Daniel Bryan

Man, you make it hard for the people who agree with you to keep agreeing with you when you make stupid comparisons.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paige_(wrestler)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Bryan

If by "just like Daniel Bryan" you mean they're both professional wrestlers who work for the WWE and once wrestled in "independent promotions", then you're dead on. If you mean they both had to travel the same path from obscurity to stardom, you're missing it by a mile.

Daniel Bryan came up a lot like guys like Mick Foley and Steve Austin. He ate mayo sandwiches to pay his way through wrestling school because he had to pay a shit-ton of dues to even get somebody to vouch for him.

Paige came up more like people like Bret Hart and Cody Rhodes. Yes, she had to train and prove herself and pay her dues, nobody can deny that, but she already had a name in the business because she came from a family of wrestlers. Did they make her earn her way in? of course they did. Did she have to scrap just to get noticed? No.

Does that lessen her accomplishment? No. But to compare her to people who didn't start out with that advantage is insulting to both her and guys like Daniel Bryan.

Get off of this kick right now. There's politics behind everything.

That's not necessarily a bad thing, by the way. "Politics" does not mean "sucking off the people backstage" (at least it doesn't usually mean that, as much as it might have in Kelly Kelly's case). "Politics" means "convincing people you deserve an opportunity, usually by proving yourself and grabbing the brass ring when it comes by".

That's what Paige did last night and congratulations to her for both seeing the opportunity and taking it.

But, AJ Lee did the same thing 296 days ago. Quit demeaning her ability, because, I hate to break this to you, if AJ's a slutty, no-talent piece of crap, then all Paige did was beat a slutty, no-talent piece of crap. That doesn't say much for her.
