Will Sting finally pass the torch?

Well, Bound For Glory is approaching fast, and it looks like we might be seeing a Samoa Joe/Sting match up at the big PPV. This could be a great match considering both workers are very good, and they could easily put on a **** match if they got the time. Sting has been appearing at Bound For Glory annually, he basically comes in wins the World Title for a few weeks, then drops it to whoever he was feuding with. Is the same thing going to happen this year? With rumors of Sting actually retiring after this year's Bound For Glory, do you think Sting is finally ready to pass the torch to the future of this business, Samoa Joe? Do you think that he will lose in his final match, and say goodbye to wrestling once and for all? Or will we see the same thing from previous years? Sting wins the World Title then drop it in 2 weeks...

What do you think? Will Sting finally lose in the Bound For Glory main event this year?

i really hope he just loses the match and retires but he may make tna give him another short title reign before he retires cause it might be in his contract again or something...

i dont see what people see in sting. he's old, cant wrestle and looks pathetic for 2008 in terms of ring gear. samoa joe needs to stop wearing the suits also. it would be great to see sting hand it all up. losing to samoa joe once and for all would be great for joe and if joe turns heel it will be great for him to walk around acting cocky and reminding us all he retired sting.

I think it is time for Sting to finally lose to Joe *shudders at the thought of Sting v Nash* and Sting should lose in a great, clean match. But who knows, somethin could be in his contract, or Russo might just think it better :/

I think this will be another WWE rip-off, with Sting wanting a shot at the belt, Cornette denying it, Sting putting his career on the line, saying it's near it's end and if anyone is going to end it he wants it to be Joe. This either sets up

A-Joe/Sting

B-Booker wants in, and/or Nash too, thus making it Triple Threat/Fatal 4 Way

^^^First, sorry to bump an old thread but I was about to start a similar one.

BFG hasn't had a multi-wrestler main event and I like your idea of a 4 way. It's different and gives everyone a chance to grab some spotlight.

The Stinger will be 50 in March and while he still performs very well, he hasn't had a singles match in almost a year. TNA should give him the Ric Flair treatment and let him be in the main event to put Joe over. Now that Flair is a free agent, maybe they should bring him in to see Sting off.

No no no. I HATE that people are supporting the idea of a Fatal Fourway involving Kevin Nash. There is NO way that Nash should be in the main event of TNA's biggest show of the year. A Triple Threat? Okay. Though, I'd rather Joe face Styles anyway. Sting/Booker is epic enough for me.

Kevin Nash is washed up, this is fact. The last year though, he seems to be asking for forgiveness from the fans. Really stemming from 10 years ago when all the rumors that he was Triple Hing behind the scenes in WCW. His t-shirt says 2008 tour. He's 49 years old too. Let the man have his last main event and then retire from active wrestling. He hasn't been in a single match for over 2 years. I think he knows his limitations.

Kevin Nash, as much as i don't like the idea as him being in singles competition, has really changed much for the better backstage. His promo work is almost second to none, he is really liked backstage, and even though people thought him giving Black Machismo and The Guru gimmicks to the X Division Stars, the gimmicks are surprisingly over, so Nash somehow knew what he was doing. I've warmed up to him, and wouldn't mind seeing him Main Event one last time, as long as he uses the opportunity to put a guy over, rather than try to be the champion.
