Man, Matt has really lost it, I remember a simpler time, when he was a fucking cruiserweight lol. Maybe him "trying to make the weight limit" was a precursor to things to come...

He claims it's just his swollen intestines though, dunno. That would be cool and all, except his arms look fat as fuck too.. and he just plain looks like shit in that picture.

Of course John Morrison will win the "big one" one day. It won't be for awhile though because he hasn't really been tested in big main event singles matches and I don't really see any pressure on him to make this big hurdle in fear of his time passing him up. Still has a long career ahead of him.

Just look at Edge....he came in WWE in 1998 and didn't win the WWE Championship until 2006. For the longest time he was the quintessential midcard guy fans loved to cheer because they knew he would climb the ranks. Its the same with Morrison. He debuted in 2005 and just like Edge, building to his first world title win will be a slow burn. No rush needed.

^^^He debuted early 2004 actually, so by your estimation he's 'due' a world title reign in the next 18months.

As for main event experience... Rewind to Smackdown last year when he wace facing (and mostly beating) all the SD MEventers (Edge, Hardy, Punk, Myterio) as well as being given a chance to get his shine on in this years SD elemination chamber.

...I'm starting to doubt he'll ever get there; particularly so as a face.

Such a shame, I really liked the Morrison character as a heel, but I can't even remember the last time he refered to The Pakace Of Wisdom and all that kinda jive (if at all since he's been a face). He's just 'generic smiley face'-guy now.

The same could be said for Edge at one point when he won King of the Ring, or was beating Angle. Just because a title push doesn't happen after alot of momentum doesn't mean it can't be revisited.

He actually called it The Palace of Wisdom.

And does anybody real count Johnny Nitro's brief stint on RAW as his actual debut? Thats like saying Drew McIntyre debuted a couple years back. Nobody really counts that.

Well I count Morrison's debut as being in 04 cause that's when it was. When he was Jonny Nitro. Just because he goes through a name change, doesn't change his debut date. I don't think so anyway.
