the WWF (Fund) was founded in 1961. In 1980 WWWF became the WWF (Wrestling) After a while the WWF (Fund) threatened the WWF (Wrestling) with a lawsuit if they kept saying the spoken letters "WWF". In 1994 both parties made an agreement that the WWF (Fund) would keep off the WWF (Wrestling) as long as they wouldn't advertise in the UK with a certain font reading WWF. Along with minimal use of spoken "WWF." In 1999-2000 the WWF (Wrestling) advertise the way that was prohibited by the WWF (Fund) a lawsuit followed and in 2002 a court order made the WWF (Wrestling ) either change it's logo or change it's name and no footage or pictures of the scratch logo was allowed. WWF (Wrestling) opted to change it's name due to all the restrictions in May 2002. Ultimately launching the "Get the F out" marketing campaign. In 2012 just before the 1000th episode special WWF and WWE made an agreement that the WWE can show the WWF scratch logo without censorship in return the WWE can't show any logo depicting the WWF (Such as the New Generation logo or the Old School logo that was used for RAW Old School in 2010)
