Why isn't Owen Hart in the WWE Hall Of Fame?

Well, the reason I THINK Owen isn't in the hall of fame yet is because of this... there are better wrestlers Than him that still need to be inducted. Just because he died while being lowered to the ring (it was WWFs fault) doesn't mean he needs to go in the hall of fame immediately.

I don't agree with them putting in JR before Owen, Obviously JR is a legend but IMO the hall of fame is for wrestlers. That's debatable, but it's how i see it. Owen should've been inducted before JR, but he wasn't and there's nothing anyone can do about it. basically shit happens. Owen will be inducted in the next couple years .

you've got to be kiddin me! vince said that there will be no more mentioning of benoit's name in the wwe again...

Give the WWE a little time, I think the WWE is waiting to get Teddy Hart and Nattalie Neidhart onto a main show with Harry Smith and induct Owen Hart and possibly the British Bulldog into the Hall of Fame, that's just my take on it.

well, peopel can have different opinions on that. yea, he was dedicated wrestling and all and he did entertain us, but he did not add something big to the WWE like other legends did (rock, austin, hhh, hbk, taker and hogan). on the other hand, he ruined the WWE's chance to rise to the top again, and since the lame tribute show, the ratings are dropping. and, regardless of the motives, he killed 3 lives including himself. that would automatically erase any respect he got from me and from another fans as well.

so, if i were vince, i would not induct him.

Like 3lions said Owen may not get inducted because of his wife refusing to allow it. But none of us know exactly what her state of mind on Owen getting inducted is. Plus i remember hearing that Bret was upset because Owen didn't get inducted in the last hall of fame ceremony. So if that's true then obviously Owen is able to be inducted. Also im sure Davey,Brian, and Neidhart all have future spots in the hall of fame because not to long ago a Pillman dvd was released, Neidhart's daughter Nattie works for the wwe and so does Davey's son Harry.

I agree with what most have already said....It doesnt matter if he is inducted 20years from now or next year because he is still remembered as a ggreat wrestler.He will definately be inducted but there has to be people for all the years not just this year.And id liek to add that there is no point saying that Bulldog should go in before own or owen before Bulldog because they both will eventually and are both great...

He was a legend I loved him as a kid my fav wrestler of all time
