I've been asked this question dozens of times going back my days in WC why watch Impact when it's a Shell of it's former self? Let me tell you the closest I've been to saying fuck Dixie and the higher ups was with Hogan and Bischoff came into the Company in 2010. They no clue of what made Impact great years prior but from Jumpstreet they wanted to create Impact Wrestling in their eyes would made them compete and be better than WWE. You know when take away the Six Sided Ring and you're putting twice removed Nasty Boys on my Weekly Shows vs promoting the talent that got you to the dance yeah you're going to lose fans. Even though that Hurricane which felt like forever I've said loyal to the Company when people were laughing on why I watch the Show every week.
I think the start of that recovery you can say maybe the Hardys coming in, but when they signed OVE and LAX the place atmosphere changed I thought. The talent wanted to succeed and they saw we can be the glue to turn this Company around. I don't where Impact would be today if not for those talents as well as Pentagon JR and Fenix. I mean we got Sami vs Tessa for the Impact World Title and it the arch to get to that point was done so great and the Match itself was a killer bout. Even through the talent leaving the past few Years has hurt them to a degree they have been putting a damn good Show and PPVS for quite some time now. 2021 I hope not just through these recent Releases of Talent but the positivity alone for Impact right now they scoop up talent and take their Company to the next level hopefully.
