I've been asked this question dozens of times going back my days in WC why watch Impact when it's a Shell of it's former self? Let me tell you the closest I've been to saying fuck Dixie and the higher ups was with Hogan and Bischoff came into the Company in 2010. They no clue of what made Impact great years prior but from Jumpstreet they wanted to create Impact Wrestling in their eyes would made them compete and be better than WWE. You know when take away the Six Sided Ring and you're putting twice removed Nasty Boys on my Weekly Shows vs promoting the talent that got you to the dance yeah you're going to lose fans. Even though that Hurricane which felt like forever I've said loyal to the Company when people were laughing on why I watch the Show every week.

I think the start of that recovery you can say maybe the Hardys coming in, but when they signed OVE and LAX the place atmosphere changed I thought. The talent wanted to succeed and they saw we can be the glue to turn this Company around. I don't where Impact would be today if not for those talents as well as Pentagon JR and Fenix. I mean we got Sami vs Tessa for the Impact World Title and it the arch to get to that point was done so great and the Match itself was a killer bout. Even through the talent leaving the past few Years has hurt them to a degree they have been putting a damn good Show and PPVS for quite some time now. 2021 I hope not just through these recent Releases of Talent but the positivity alone for Impact right now they scoop up talent and take their Company to the next level hopefully.

I stopped watching FOREVER. About a year or so ago I started to watch the rare show here or there and liked what I saw. Saw stuff on YouTube sometimes, liked what I saw. But it took the whole Forbidden Door stuff for me to start watching it on a weekly basic. (tho I miss the odd week here or there now). It's getting to be really great again. Probably one of the better shows on TV right now. It went down hill for awhile, and was just unwatchable as fuck. But it's back to doing great stuff.

I stopped watching from like 2015-2020 just loosely keeping up with results. Stopped bc I stopped watching pretty much all wrestling so even though IMpact was really sucking at the time I prolly woulda kept watching otherwise ngl. Started it back when I decided I wanted to start watching a lot more companies and branch out again so wasn't necessarily anything good they did either :lol

But now I enjoy the show most weeks. The roster is spread pretty thin, looks pretty shit on paper admittedly a lot but I think it has the best writing of any company rn. It's carrying everything really. Supposedly the booking team is D'Amore, Dreamer, Jimmy Jacobs, and RD Evans which is just hilarious bc what a cast of characters that is. But somehow they're able to make me care about some complete scrubs in feuds that have no business happening :lol

You mean talent like Myers I kid I kid. I mean look at Violence by Design with Young that group is money right now. Rhino took a Lightning Bolt to the Chest he's found a niche for himself and that has to be the team looking at the Roster and saying this guy would be great with them while allowing EY to do his damn thing with his Segments Week to Week. Knowing when to put your hands on something and when to trust the talent is something they are hitting on really well right now and it's great to watch.

I'm going to be in the huge minority. I actually never watched original TNA, as I stopped watching wrestling after Attitude Era ended. I came back in like 15/16 or whenever Owens won the title. Stopped. Got into AEW and through Kenny got into Impact.

I like the story telling, and most of the top acts and angles at this time. I don't like everything or everyone, but I like calihan, ace, alexander , fire and flava. Its not perfect, there's some pretty rough looking acts still but I won't spend time being neg on them. My main complain really is the commercials are brutal. outside of that ya, fun show that I enjoy.

Yeah commercials are fucking brutal lmao I think that's the only way they stay afloat though with the ad revenue :heston

Oh really. I just might need to restart that Impact Flashback and show you some of those Classic Matches and Segments from the Era you missed.

I stopped watching it because it aint on TV no more. I'm too lazy to look it up online to watch it, if its online. If it still had a TV deal, on one of the channels I have, I would watch it.

Yeah, I had four of them, but my badass twins done broke two of them. For some reason they are going through a phase where they like to pick up shit and throw it at stuff. Even through a damn hammer through a window in my daughter's room. I'll look into it when I get back home. Thanks for the information.

I watched Impact again in 2021 when AXS TV was airing old pay-per-views. It's hit-or-miss. Sometimes, it's a good show like Sacrifice where Eric Young defended his title against Magnus. But, there are times when it's junk, such as Lockdown where Road Dogg Jesse James took on Billy Gunn.
