The fact that this was the first match on the card and the WHC along with the, "Yes, Yes, Yes" chants to start Mania really killed the atmosphere of what people paid for to see. This was a sad idea.

I think he may have to end the "yes" because the crowd is really starting to love it. If he wants to stay heel, he might need to change it up.

I'm gonna get flamed to shit and I don't care, but personally I enjoyed it. Sure it sucked in the sense it was so short and that they could have put on a great match if they got given the time but still I enjoyed it. I marked out when it happened and feel as though it can play out nicely in a storyline between Bryan/AJ and put over Sheamus as a beast.

PWInsider reports that WWE wanted to surprise everyone at WrestleMania 28 and do something that nobody was expecting, which is part of the reason why Sheamus squashed Daniel Bryan for the World Heavyweight Title.

Besides this and breaking the record from Kane vs. Chavo Guerrero, officials were hoping to get the Brogue Kick over as a dominant move.

For those wondering, Daniel Bryan is not being punished and there is said to be no heat on him.

I thought it was hilarious that Miami was boo'ing Sheamus last night. Totally uninterested in the ADR/Sheamus exchange and chanting "Daniel Bryan" during the whole thing. Glad Miami shoved that match right back up WWE's ass.

I was disgusted at what they did to the WHC match, I really am behind Daniel Bryan and I loved him as a heel champion and apparently so does most of Miami. It wasn't a surprise that they handed the title to Sheamus, I just thought it was a travesty that they didn't give them any time in the match. Daniel Bryan is arguably one of the best wrestlers in WWE and Sheamus is damn good himself, if given the proper time they could've put on one hell of a match.

It is was it is I suppose, there is nothing I can do nor does my bitching help whatsoever. I'm just hoping Daniel Bryan stays in the main event as I believe that him and Sheamus could continue their program, he could have a damn good feud with the likes of Orton also. Daniel Bryan!! YES! YES! YES!

Well after what happened last night, could we now see Daniel Bryan turned into an Austin like character? With the YES YES YES catchphrase and a not giving a shit attitude. It may work to his advantage I guess.
