Was assuming something like this was going to happen. Given we get a nice Orton/DB feud with Bryan getting the belt in the end, no harm there. Plus, just seeing him beat Cena cleanly will already have me marking out, lol. Just hoping this isn't changed because it leaked (assuming it's true ofc).

Vince is going for long reigns. We are not gettin a five months feud. Sadly, Orton will establish himself as top heel and Bryan will just wrestle against him 2 PPV, 3 maximum before he moves on.
So, you push Bryan just to turn Orton heel.

This is why some of us over reacted at MITB. Orton winning MITB basically makes The Bryan title run end in the same night to Orton.. Everything is being built for orton.

Heard someone mention that the last match between Orton and Cena being built as the "last match ever" is still preventing them from going back to that feud, even as just an MITB cash-in. It's similar to Flair sticking with his retirement, so something like this is bound to happen.

Everything is not being built for Orton. This is going to further push DB out of the tag division and directly in to the main event even if he doesn't fight Orton at NOC. However, if he does fight Orton then we have the underdog angle with him, which'll be even better.

I see it more similar to Ziggler/Del Rio as something that'll be an ongoing feud. Orton & I've Bryan have had great matches before, so those two having a feud would be perfect.
