REPORT FROM LORDSOFPAIN.NET: "Word going around WWE is that the current plan for SummerSlam has Daniel Bryan defeating John Cena for the WWE Title, only to see Randy Orton cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase, take the WWE Title and finally make his long-awaited heel turn. It’s possible WWE announces the Randy Orton neck injury on RAW and keep him off TV for a few weeks, that way his cash in at SummerSlam will be more of a surprise. Another sign that Orton will be cashing in at SummerSlam is that as of this week, there is no Bryan vs. Cena rematch planned for September’s Night of Champions pay-per-view."

This is why some of us over reacted at MITB. Orton winning MITB basically makes The Bryan title run end in the same night to Orton.. Everything is being built for orton.

To be fair, how is it bad? Bryan goes over Cena, Orton cashes in and turns heel then feuds with Daniel, and if Daniel gets it in the end, I'll be fine with it. A feud between the underdog Daniel Bryan and a heel Orton would be great, even if Daniel's first reign is cut short due to Money in the Bank, especially if Daniel gets a clean win over John Cena.

Because I want him champ for longer than one night :okay:but anyways this is why some of us over-reacted I think. We all knew that we'd still be waiting for a healthy title run. It's not bad, just a drag to wait.

Going over Cena and having a heel Orton in the end, that Bryan will also go over, will be worth it

Pretty much with Farooq here. I'm totally okay with this if Bryan gets the title back in the end. If anything it makes a more interesting storyline.

And I think Bryan fans were butthurt because he didn't win, lol. Could have been anyone else who won MITB.. I doubt many were thinking this far ahead :dawg:
Which is understandable, but still... :cole:

But I was..... I knew what it meant for orton, and posted several times after raw that Bryan will lose the title faster than he lost it at WM. Maybe others though :true:

We can always kill Vince if DB doesn't get a decent reign.

I also don't have an issue with Orton cashing in and taking the title right off of Bryan if it means Bryan has to chase the title a bit longer before getting a full reign. They've already had Bryan and Orton wrestle a few times and Bryan's big moment (even more so than giving The Shield their first loss from his POV) in proving he wasn't the weak link was defeating Orton so there's already well laid back story with building towards a cash in and a world title feud between the two.

Though, If this does set up a long ass Orton/Cena feud, then count me in on the butthurt. Fuck that shit. I really doubt it'll happen but at the same time.... this is WWE.. :silva:

As a heel Orton mark, I'm pretty okay with this. I predicted after MITB that Orton winning would set up a triple threat feud anyway. Orton vs Cena vs Bryan. Cena's gonna want his rematch and Bryan's going to be saying he won cleanly and deserves it back and I think this will be something positive. Maybe even lasting a long while.
