Even in the South people are bored with Nascar nowadays.
Of course I always defend this product, but to address Adam's complaints:
-The X Division: Yeah, it deserves more of a spotlight, that really can't be argued. Would love to see some TV appearances and updates with Ion (even though he's a heel), Manik surely needs more attention as the former champion and a character they can do a lot of interesting things with, and Kenny King who... well, he's Kenny King, that's why. I understand putting the strap back on Sabin as one of the bigger heels in the company right now (even if I don't like it) and those other guys being above it, but I can't understand why the other X guys aren't on TV. Maybe they need 3 ho... no, no they don't.
-The Tag Division: They just need tag teams. Period. They don't have any. Have no idea what people see in the Bromans, and the timing of them winning the titles was really dumb. Can't believe they're champions after they were buried deep beneath the earth.
-The Specials: They're only setting up one big match and filling out the card... isn't that what all pay-per-views are nowadays? Maybe my view is slanted because it feels like a "big TV show" which is much less than "a pay per view" (especially with TNA only having 4 putting more emphasis on them), but I really believe that these free TV specials get better build than most PPV's. Take the Corpus Christi Impact for instance (which next year will probably be called Sacrifice), it had a tag match with Team Nacho Bell Grande's career on the line to open the show, Taryn Terrell finally getting her hands on Gail, AJ Styles getting an ultimatum from Hulk Hogan, Gut Check results with a popular indy talent, and Bully/Hardy Full Metal Mayhem. That was on the week of Wrestlemania, and this Impact had better build than 'Mania. Hell, look at just how many PPV's didn't have that much going for them. Since then we've had exciting stuff announced for Destination X, lots of stipulation matches announced for Hardcore Justice, the tournament finals at No Surrender... It's nothing overwhelming, but neither are most pay-per-views nowadays.
