The Miz to take over on commentary since Jerry isnt gonna be around for a while WWE should do this as Miz can do double duty being IC champion and the best commentator in the business this would make his awesome gimmick even greater he could gloat in peoples faces that not only is he champion but he does commentary as well

Highly unlikely. Miz is a young in ring competitor and a title holder. Miz won't become a commentator any time soon if ever. The most logical choice is Mathews, Striker och Stanford, possibly asking JR to fill in but not as likely as the other three.

Cole is a fantastic heel commentator, you've said yourself how good SmackDown commentary is before. When he's with other good commentators (Booker and Josh), Cole works fine. King was a terrible commentator, Cole dominated segments so of course he'd be annoying.
We're talking about potential replacements in this thread and Cole has to be neutral/heel, he can not go face imo.

Bringing up King was a good point, a good part of the reason he was so obnoxious on commentary was to get heat on himself during the Blue Cole/Lawler feud. Without that feud, would he be more tolerable?
And if Booker gets axed as GM soon, can't help but put him and Regal together, it sounds like a match made in heaven.
