^I agree with the Morrison thing, but I really don't know if WWE is looking at it that way at this point. I think they're simply looking at him as a possible next Jeff Hardy and someone who's going to see a hell of a lot of merch to kids if given the right push and direction.
I prefer Miz greatly over Morrison at this point, and it's not even an argument that his crowd reaction is far greater than Morrison's at this point. I don't think they're going to have any problem pushing Miz into the main event when the time comes. I'm going to go as far as to say they could have done it already had they booked the feud between he and Cena differently.

D Mac.

Obviously not currently getting the mega push of Sheamus or Kingston, but I see more of a slow, methodical build up for Drew. He is impressive in the ring, and they've already put over his finisher has a finisher that can beat anyone (Pinned Hardy with it?) While Sheamus and Kofi will probably break out in 2010 as well, I can just see Drew maybe holding a world title by the end of next year, but it depends on how WWE play it.

And unless WWE act fast, the JoMo boat has sailed.

I went with Kofi. Seamus is a close second. The WWE seems intent on making these the guys a main focus heading into the new year. I just think Kofi will be able to stay over with the fans a little better.

The darkhorse would have to The Miz. He will have to do it on his own though, as the WWE will concentrate more on Kofi/Seamus, as well as the usual suspects HHH, HBK, Cena, and Orton.

Miz has been doing it on his own for most of his career. No biggie

Miz's talent is going to be impossible for WWE to ignore, especially his overness.

I'll also have to agree with Drew main eventing quite soon as well. I think we're going to see a hell of a lot of title matches between Morrison, Drew and Punk in the coming year or two.

Although it's Sheamus and Kofi getting the mega pushes right now Jomo seems like a lock to be main eventing by the summer. .

Weren't folks saying that same thing this year? Like a month after JoMo was drafted, people were saying he'd be main eventing in no time. Then it was he'd be World Champ by the end of the year. I see it this way, Morrison's not as great as a lot of people think he is.

My picks would have to go Miz and Kofi. They get the most reaction out of anybody in the mid card. Miz is generating more heat than anyone in the E, besides Jericho. He's great on the mic and improving very well in the ring. It's clear the E is seeing something in him. They let him go on his quest to become US champ and didn't drop it like they did Swagger.

With Kofi, he's being built up at a pretty good pace. His program with Orton is getting him over more and more. I feel that with him being built up, he has a better chance of getting to the main event and staying there, rather than just being added to the world title picture.

Thing is with Drew, if they were that high on him, they sure as hell aint show it on SD this week. He had a pretty good outing at SS, was he on SD this week? Did they even mention him at all? any follow-up? They did a poor job of capitalizing on that. (side note: I didn't watch all of SD so I maybe wrong ono that)

^He was on Superstars actually I think.

But back to Morrison. I know people have been saying for quite some time. I think he probably would have been if not for WWE's need to cover the hole left by Rey in their mid card. They weren't completely confident in Ziggler, therefore they used Jomo as a place holder. With Drew probably coming up as his next challenger I would imagine after he's done with that he'll move up into the main event....hopefully.

I doubt Morrison main eventing was ever on the plans. They immediately went with CM Punk vs Taker after Hardy left, and seeing as Taker winning the belt was planned since the beginning of it, I have a hard time believing they were going to build towards Morrison vs Taker.

EDIT:

As for Drew, I think they actually want to get him over before they push him to the moon. He already has the kayfabe tools to be credible when pushed (selected by McMahon to be future World Champion, beat R-Truth and Finlay, the official midcard jobbers), but they are waiting for the crowd to respond to him, which they are starting to. Morrison has to be the next step.

Nah, definitely not Taker/Morrison. But perhaps a Morrison/Punk feud... would have given Taker some more time off and made Punk's title reign look a little bit better. They could just be starting with the Punk/Taker thing right now.

Drew wins it from JoMo, JoMo gets a house show rematch and then goes to ME

I just don't think they would have filled the void of the departing Jeff with Morrison. If not Taker, then Rey would have been elevated, and that leaves Morrison with the belt as well

Is it me or has WWE completely killed all the hype around Ted DiBiase by pushing guys like Kofi and Drew?
