Hilarious pictures, please not the yankees comment, we dont spend our season dropping and resigning overpriced old talent for 2-3x their market value. God i hate the Yankees.

Brett Favre should have retired or accepted the chance to make Rodgers even better than he already was coming into the starting position. 5 years max and people here will finally throw away their green/gold, green/white/ and the biggest douches can keep their purple ones, Rodgers is hall of fame material soon, and Peyton Manning is probably the best QB ever. (JMO)

Uh he chice to retire after his epic 2007 season and then a month said want to still play iof he had said no and just said he was gonig play in 2008 gress what Rodgers would have never satrted in 2008! STFU! BRETT FAVRE IS THE QB IN GB END OF STORY CASE CLOSED! I not taking anything away for Rodgers but not better then Brett! Brett is alway will be my favorites Packers and will alway will my favorites ALL TIEM FAVORITES PLAYER/QB! And he Peyton Manning why b/c Brett play every injury which Peyton FAIL TO DO!

Brett Favre is one of the most badass qb's of all time, the TD throw after his concussion, painkiller addiction because of how many hits he has taken, and the way he dove headfirst in the zone puts him up there, but you CLEARLY arent a packer fan if you think we should have kept Favre's old ass and still sat Rodgers. Did you see him as a Jet? 12 decent games, followed by 4 of the worst games you've ever seen a qb allowed to play in. No reason to even bother on the Vikings run he had, what a jackass. He, to me, is like Barry Bonds was right after he retired. The guy can still produce and be a decent team asset, but his ego and confidence should make people pretend he isn't even around. Favre was treated like a god where i'm from, when i was young people would wear their Favre jersey as their "sunday best." Rodgers is going to eclipse all his records now, and we're all better for it.

I cant agree with Marino over Montana, he is still top 5, but i'm going Montana > Manning > Marino > Favre > Young (sorry i cant give Brady the top 5, hate hate hate hate hate)

Thanks for the welcome, brother, it's good to have some common enthusiasm in multiple areas in what is already a great wrestling forum.

Has there been a day/comment without the pipe bomb? I honestly still dont think it was that great, Paul Heyman's to Vince was much better, while both are still as setup as can be...I know this will probably give me a grip of hate or hurt my credibility to some, oh well.

ETA: Hilarious on the Yankees thing, sorry to get immediately defensive. The Favre thing here was huge, even in my family i have members (all old 90's "glory days" people) Who did asshole things like get their kids Jet's Favre jerseys, and even stopped watching the first part of the season, while comparing the Jet's game to whatever Rodgers had stat-wise, it was pathetic. I think Favre is one of the best ever, but the only thing he has more of than anyone else, is interceptions.

I wasn't listing QBs in order (even though I do think Marino is the best. People get too caught up with rings)

favre is the toughest SOB to ever play QB IMO, but that doesn't make him the best. He probably had the biggest balls of any QB as well, but for every good play he made with his wreckless style he would make a bad one.

Yes and no, Randy. This was the first time he was going to have someone "trying out" for the position of QB, and due to his significant injuries, and the fact that Ted Thompson LOVES Rodgers, he was most likely going to lose the position, prompting a retirement trial of over a month, i think it was something like 6-7 weeks they had invested in the future of our team. Instead, he went to NY and was made into a joke when you text someone you're Brett Favre..

Pipe bomb.
