I'm calling Shelton to win this one.
I see it playing out like this. Shelton wins the MitB and ends up getting drafted back to Raw where he will, as a heel eventually encounter Randy Orton. From here Shelton will slowly revert back to the same character type he had when he was first drafted to Raw and upset HHH. Remember that pop? I do, I recall going nuts when that happened.
He will cash in against Orton and during the match he will complete his face turn. He will come so close to going the distance but he will lose the match due to likely outside interference. Afterwards, Shelton should be seen in a very sympathetic light which will aid him with his newly found face-dom.
Now let me qualify all this. I'm not a Shelton fan per se. He's not bad or anything, I just don't get a hard-on over him like some do. But I see this as being the most likely course of action to be taken. It also finally decides whether Shelton can actually get over or not. If he can't become a huge face through this then he'll never be anything.
