I love how I just saw this from NO DQ, and they posted the worst parts of it on the tweet to get clicks The part where he said to grow up and not be a prick. I’m sure it’s in the story, but most people on Twitter don’t read the story and go off the tweet alone. Like he gave Bret plenty of prop and respect here, but showing that doesn’t give them engagement.

What it's really done is really some revisionist history that takes blame away from the booking that had Bret out there wrestling Goldberg again the night after the concussion and then either a day or two later a hardcore match with Terry Funk with a shit ton of head shots.

Goldberg's kick didn't cause the stroke later in the year...that would be the next month of head shots he was taking after
