...On WWE Raw or SmackDown right now.
This is a tougher than choosing a worst IMO.

My vote... Tom Phillips!
Previously, I would have said Ranallo, but his voice and "mamma mia!" is getting increasingly annoying.

I'm going with Mauro by process of elimination. I hate Otunga, don't care about JBL, Graves, Cole, and Saxton, and think Phillips doesn't talk enough. When Otunga finally gets canned, chosing between Philips and Mauro would be a lot harder, but right now it's clear for me

I voted for Phillips. I've always enjoyed his commentary and his unique voice.

It should be Michael Cole but..........He took more after The King than JR I guess and to me he is just a lapdog now So I'm undecided on this.....I shall return...

My vote is for corey graves. I wish I could have seen his in ring work (going to have to go and watch it soon) but as a commentator I think he's great. He makes his banter sound good against byron. And always has good jabs about all the superstars. Smackdown needs to lose 2 (JBL and otunga) and raw needs to lose 1 (byron). JBL could be better used somewhere else on the staff. GM possibly? Or managing someone? Otunga can....work behind the scenes or on ppv pre show panel. (Have raw/smackdown exclusive pre show panels maybe??) And byron saxton.... no idea.

All you need is 2 on each commentary team.

3 is a crowd and 4 is just unnecessary.

This is really, really tough.

I would've voted for Phillips, but he doesn't talk much on SmackDown since there are 4 freakin' guys on commentary. He's great in NXT, though.

So, Graves gets my vote, with Ranallo being a close second.

Mauro

I don't mind Byron as much as most people... Graves annoys me more than Byron, him and Cole need to worry about calling the match instead of picking on Byron, doesn't make him look cool to me and he's trying to hard. It's not high school.

Michael Cole. Without a shadow of a doubt. The dude sat under the learning tree of Ross for years and there is arguably no greater scholar on wrestling existing right now in the Americas. The dude always does his homework and knows so much about the industry. It's clear from listening to him in more intimate interviews or on shows where Vince isn't constantly yelling down his ear.

And the dude is a legitimately great commentator who's called some of the greatest moments in modern wrestling and helped enhance them (Foley wins the belt on RAW, Cena vs Bryan at Summerslam, Wrestlemania 30 etc). And that is with Vince McMahon in his ear for the entire show.

He's also the guy you should all be thanking for guys like Phillips and Graves, who are trained by Cole. Cole trains and directs all the commentary on NXT so he's also passing on his skills.

I get that some people seem to think that his old heel gimmick from a few years back was the real Michael Cole. But it's far from it.

Also, the dude handled a episode of RAW by himself when Jerry Lawler DIED ON LIVE TV a few years back.

I remember him calling Eddie's championship win, he was damn good. Shame Vince seems to be controlling him more than guys like Mauro/Corey.

Vince is in the ears of the two main commentators, main play by play and main color. So on RAW he is in the ear of Cole and Graves. And on Smackdown Mauro and JBL. The other guys are directed by either Hunter or Kevin Dunn/another producer
